On-Site Housing Provided - We do not require guides to be experienced when they come to us. We will provide training to enable you to develop the necessary skills and teamwork needed to guide a safe and enjoyable commercial rafting trip. Senior guides will act as mentors and evaluators during your training period during which you will develop your "river sense". Training is unpaid but at no cost. Upon completion of your training, we expect you to inspire confidence and provide encouragement when needed - on and off the river. The job of a river guide can be physically and mentally demanding at times. It is a lifestyle that requires a great love for the outdoors and tremendous respect for the river.

It is crucial that you be enthusiastic and knowledgeable in order to facilitate their trip plans. A good telephone voice is essential. Basic computer skills are necessary. You are expected to be punctual and dependable. You must be able to effectively handle a hectic pace in the office while giving cheerful, tireless service to our guests.
Answer telephones and provide information and advice to guests inquiring about our trips.
- Taking reservations accurately and send confirmations by computer.
- Operating a cash register.
- Following procedures for checking guests in for trips.
