Seasons: Summer season is from May through September. Training for new summer hires begins during the slow season start-up in early May.
Uniforms/Grooming: Uniforms are required for all positions. Employees will be required to provide portions of those uniforms. All employees must maintain a professional well-groomed appearance. This policy is adhered to at all times.
Room Attendant: Training available for hard working individual with appreciate for cleanliness and attention to detail. Responsible for daily cleaning functions of rooms and public buildings. Works at the direction of the Housekeeping Manager.
Laundry Attendant: Works at the direction of the Housekeeping Manager in performing the cleaning and processing of all linens and bedding necessary to facilitate the functions of the Resort.
Van Driver: Transfer guests to airport, railroad and other Fairbanks destinations on a daily schedule. Baggage handling for independent arrivals and departures. Daily cleaning of passenger buses and vans. CDL not required.
Front Desk Agent: Maintain daily functions of hotel front desk. Responsible for guest registration and check-out and financial transaction accuracy. Facilitates hotel communications. Must have pleasing personality and desire toward ultimate guest satisfaction at all times. Works at the direction of the Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Supervisor.
Night Auditor: Complies all revenue information of Resort operations for daily sales report. Balance and reconcile guest charges, bank deposits, credit card charges and direct bill accounts. Prior hotel auditing experience or an understanding of simple accounting procedures and cash handling helpful but not necessary. Will perform additional assigned accounting tasks at the direction of the Front Desk Manager during late night hours. Works at the direction of the Front Desk Manager and Front Desk Supervisor.
RV Park Attendant: Maintain daily functions of RV Park Office. Responsible for guest registration and satisfaction, gift shop and tour sales. Coordinate tours and transportation needs for guests. Must be able to deal with the public in a calm, efficient and pleasant manner at all times. Works at the direction of the shift Supervisors and RV Park Manager.
Sous Chef: Eligible applicants must have experience in some aspect of food and beverage management. An understanding of quality food preparation and portion control is a must. Works at the direction of the Executive Chef.
Line Cook: Eligible applicants must have some experience in this position and an understanding of food preparation, quality and portion control. Works at the direction of the Executive Chef.
Prep Cook: Eligible applicants must have some experience in this position and an understanding of food preparation, quality and portion control. Works at the direction of the Executive Chef.
Dishperson: Wash dishes and clean kitchen under the direction of the Chef. Responsible for detailed cleaning of floors, counters and all work surfaces at the end of each shift.
Host/Hostess: Controls flow of dining room operations during each meal. Cashier experience. Executech point of sale experience preferred although not required. Management of restaurant reservations and good telephone skills. Works at the direction of the Restaurant Manager. Must hold current Alaska TAPS training program card.
Waitstaff: Experience preferred. Must have pleasing personality and desire for ultimate guest satisfaction. Up-selling of additional products and services required. Must be able to work under pressure and maintain calm and professional manner. Must be at least 21 years old for Dinner service and have current TAPS training program card.
Breakfast Attendants: Attend to the needs of customers in the breakfast dining room and maintain stocking of items on the breakfast buffet. Must have pleasing personality and desire for ultimate guest satisfaction.
Bartender: Responsible for beverage service to guest, bar set-up and pour costs. Must maintain and be accountable for inventory. Some limited food service may be required. Must have experience. Must hold current Alaska TAPS training program card.
Busperson: Maintains cleanliness of dining room and attends to guest needs. Assist waitstaff with non-alcoholic beverage services. Assist dishwasher when needed. Clear and re-set tables. Works at the direction of the host/hostess.
