Torrey is located 213 miles away from Salt Lake City, and 327 miles from Las Vegas. Torrey is the gateway to Capitol Reef National Park. Our property faces beautiful green fields and striking red cliffs making the Red Sands Hotel a pictures place to live, work and play. We are also located just 3 hours away from Moab (Arches and Canyon Lands National Park) and Bryce Canyon.

About Red Sands Hotel & Spa

Focused on relaxation, meditation, wellness & exploration  - Coming May 2018

Red Sands Hotel has been known as an independent, midscale, limited service hotel in Torrey, UT and is primarily sought after by leisure tourists who are looking to explore Capitol Reef National Park and surrounding areas. The owners have decided to reposition the Red Sands Hotel into a full-service, upscale boutique hotel & spa with F&B. This will be accomplished by a major renovation of the existing hotel and lobby. We are expanding social space complete with fireplace, patios, gas fire pits, library, pool, hot tub and new fitness room, and by adding a new building with additional, larger guest rooms (400sf) a full-service spa, yoga room, and restaurant & bar.

The new building will include the following:

SPA: 3 treatment rooms; one of which doubles as a 3-seat foot massage room or a couple’s massage room, further the spa will have two steam showers, one for self-applied mud treatments, a mineral bathtub room, a 4-person Jacuzzi room and a sensory deprivation or float room as well as a tea room and meditation room.  Above the spa will be a large yoga room. 

840 sf of indoor meeting space and an additional 450 sf of protected outdoor meeting space

15 new lock-off units for a total of 64 rooms between the existing building and new

30 seat restaurant & bar

Outside horse pasture and mediation walking paths

A breathtaking view of North America's highest plateau "the Bluebell Knoll" at 11,313 feet is the centerpiece of our new staff housing facility which will open on May 1st - Before May 1st we will offer shared housing in a traditional hotel room -

Getting Here and Getting Around

Personal Vehicle is recommended due to our remote location and bikes are welcome - Salt Lake Airport is 3 hours away and we can arrange transportation from the airport to the property -

Staff housing is located on the top floor of our new addition and makes for no commute to work - 

Greyhound Bus pick-up can also be arranged from Richfield, Utah -
