The person for this position will need to have had previous professional cooking experience - having a Culinary Degree is also preferred. The specific duties will be the hands-on production/cooking and oversight of all three meals for up to 40 guests and 20 crew, BBQ’s, plated gourmet dinners and all food-related items for the ranch.
This is a true hands-on working position, you will have an Assistant Chef, Prep Cook, and Dishwasher.
The design of the menu, ordering, food cost, inventory and portion control are all specifics that you will be in control of. A proven “teacher” and guest service attitude is required, team-oriented, driven work ethic, maintaining quality standards, ability to work well with others as well as an adaptive personality are also needed for this job.
Quality food production is of the utmost importance with the ability to be creative and adaptive in menu style, cooking, and presentation. We have a high standard of excellent cuisine that will be met. You will be directly responsible for cooking and managing your staff, this is a true working chef position.
