Job Summary:  Facilitates daily operations of the Ticket Office and/or Snowsports Sales Office.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Assures all customers are treated courteously, safely, and efficiently
  • Assists the Retail & Tickets Manager in day-to-day operations of the Ticket and Snowsports Sales Office.
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure effective and efficient operations are in place
  • Assists in the implementation of season pass events, and attends events as needed
  • Assists set-up and monitors point of sale (POS) system used for ticket sales
  • Troubleshoots ticket seller problems and assists with customer complaints
  • Assists in training ticket office & snowsports sales staff on daily operations and using RTP
  • Performs duties of Ticket Cashier and Snowsports Sales Cashier
  • Performs and assists other employees in performing ticket & snowsports sales duties including day ticket, season pass, and snowsports sales
  • Assures that daily cash sales reports are completed accurately
  • Assists with group ticketing and billing
  • Manage seasonal and daily locker inventory
  • Manage processing of lost and found items 
  • Assist guests in looking for and locating items in lost and found
  • Shoveling out entrances to Main Lodge and in front of ticket office when it snows

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
  • Ability to perform all types of ticket and snowsports sales
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high volume, distracting environment
  • Ability to manage a large volume of cash accurately and safely
  • 10 key calculator skills
  • Ability to effectively present information to management

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the ski industry
  • Prior supervisory experience
