Job Summary: Assists guests with the purchase of food, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic beverages, providing accurate transactions and excellent customer service in a high-volume alpine dining environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned:
- Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to guests.
- Accurately ring up purchases, handle cash, process credit card transactions, and issue change using the POS system.
- Stock and clean cashier stations and “Grab n Go” areas.
- Assist with maintaining dining area cleanliness, including wiping tables, restocking napkins, condiments, and cutlery.
- Support food and beverage staff to ensure smooth guest service.

Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- State of Montana Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service (RASS) Training certification (if handling alcohol; must be obtained prior to service).
Preferred:
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
- Cash handling experience.
- Knowledge of the ski industry.

- Stand and/or walk for up to 40% of an 8-hour shift, with flexibility to move between the cashier station and dining areas.
- Use hands and fingers to operate POS systems, handle products, and stock supplies.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions:
- Work performed primarily indoors in a restaurant/dining setting.
- Occasional exposure to humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and sharp/hot objects.
- May occasionally be exposed to extreme cold or wet alpine conditions.
- Willingness, if necessary, to travel to work via chairlift, snowmobile, or snowcat.
- Harsh winter weather conditions may be encountered while at work or traveling to work in a high alpine environment.
