PM Janitor

Keep the Mountain Shining After Hours!

Status: Seasonal, Non-Exempt

The Job

When the lifts stop spinning and the last guests head home, your work begins!

As a PM Janitor, you will help reset the resort each evening, so our buildings are clean, stocked, safe, and ready for another great mountain day. This is the perfect role for someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys working independently, and does not mind a little snow, cold weather, or behind-the-scenes adventure.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain base-area buildings after the resort closes.

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout the resort.

• Empty trash and recycling and transport bags to designated dumpsters.

• Vacuum, mop, wipe down surfaces, and keep facilities guest-ready.

• Assist with snow removal using shovels, snow scoops, and snow blowers.

• Travel safely between resort facilities, which may include riding a chairlift, snowmobile, grooming machine, or skiing or snowboarding.

• Communicate with team members in person and by telephone or two-way radio.

• Work independently, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

• Pitch in with other duties as needed. Mountain life always keeps things interesting!

• Are dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

• Have general cleaning, janitorial, or light-maintenance skills.

• Can safely use cleaning products, equipment, ladders, and snow-removal tools.

• Are available to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, snow days, and occasional emergency situations.

• Have reliable transportation and can safely drive in winter conditions.

• Can communicate clearly and work well with others.

• Are ready to work in a physical, fast-moving mountain environment.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position. Team members must be able to:

• Stand or walk for 90% or more of a typical eight-hour shift.

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

• Shovel and move significant amounts of snow.

• Bend, stoop, reach, climb, and work on uneven, snowy, or icy terrain.

• Work safely in cold, windy, wet, and changing winter conditions.

• Safely travel to facilities using available mountain transportation.

Preferred Experience

It is helpful, but not required, if you have:

• Previous janitorial, cleaning, or maintenance experience.

• Experience working with the public and providing great customer service.

• Familiarity with ski areas or the outdoor recreation industry.
