Why not spend the summer at a scenic mountain resort? We are seeking a few good folks to round out our crew.  Our main season runs from mid-April until late September. While we do engage in shorter terms, preference is given to those who can stay through the entire season. Part-time, full-time and seasonal opportunities exist. 

The following is a list of our available positions which all begin this Spring!

  • Bus Person

    Red Canyon Lodge
    $10.00 / hour

    Duties include cleaning and setting restaurant tables, food prep, keeping dining room/prep areas clean and dishwashing. Must have current Food Handlers Permit (we will help with this). 

  • Dining Room Manager

    Restaurant
    Red Canyon Lodge
    $20.00 / hour

    Lead the way in our popular seasonal restaurant. Duties include restaurant host activity, management of waitstaff crew (including training & scheduling) and inventory management. This a full time seasonal position. our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Starting Wage is 20 per hour.

     

  • Front Desk/Retail/Rentals

    This position has 3 parts, you could work at the gift shop, front desk, or rental center.  This position is responsible for the daily rental operations for Red Canyon Lodge, which includes taking reservations, answering phone inquiries, checking guests in preparing outgoing equipment orders. This person must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making and critical thinking skills to ensure the best customer service and safety for patrons by maintaining, cleaning, and organizing.

    Individuals must have general knowledge about outdoor equipment and be able to work collaboratively with the gift shop and checking in to make sure the guests needs are met. 

    Knowledge about outdoor equipment preferred, but not required, especially in watersports, mountain biking, hiking, and fishing.

  • Housekeeper

    $14.00 / hour

    Conduct Housekeeping duties for Red Canyon's Guest Cabins. Duties included cleaning, stocking, laundry and working with the public. Prior experience is helpful, but not necessary. You even resort benefits such as rental equipment use staff meals and an end of season bonus!

  • Kitchen Utility

    $12.00 / hour

    Back of house restaurant work including dishwashing, cleaning, stocking and food preparation. No prior experience required, but must have current food handlers permit. (we will help accomplish this) Starting wage $12/hour or more DOE.

  • Line Cook

    $18.00 - $21.00 / hour

    We are looking for a Seasonal Restaurant Line Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our guests using fresh, unique ingredients including wild game. This is a seasonal position, running from May to October.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare high-quality meals for lodge guests in a timely and efficient manner
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to plan and execute menus
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
    • Manage food inventory and order supplies as needed
    • Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and presented in an attractive manner
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
    • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Chef
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
    • Must have a passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field

  • Restaurant Host

    Help manage servers, greet restaurant patrons, cash register duties, retail sales, food and alcohol service, restaurant closing, food prep and working with the public. Must have Alcoholic Beverage Server Certification and Food Handlers Permit (we will help accomplish this) Starting at $14/hour and up, DOE.

  • Sous Chef

    $20.00 / hour
    We are seeking a great sous chef for our 65 seat restaurant that is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner during the main season. Duties include supporting the resort chef in training and managing staff, maintaining inventory and overseeing all other aspects of the daily operation of a resort kitchen. This is a full-time position with that include free housing.
  • Staff Cook

    $18.00 / hour

    We have a fabulous staff and they need fuel to do their jobs. Your job would be to provide food for a staff of 25 employees. A Staff Cook plans, prepares, and cooks food items that provide the staff with the nourishment and energy they need to fulfill their duties. They keep the staff kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation and following food storage procedures.
