  • Sous Chef PM

  • Food Server FT

    Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.

    Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items.  This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

    Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.     • Enter the order into the “Point of Sale” computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed.

    Food & Beverage

    Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, bussers, and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests' dining experience. Also, requires cleaning of physical surroundings.

    • Promptly and carefully rinse soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly. Quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated. Physical strength and stamina are essential to this position due to the high activity level.
    • Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards.

    A banquet captain is an individual in charge of the administration and supervision of all activities that occurs during a banquet. They are professionals in event planning, coordination, and management. It is also their work to direct and supervise staff on their various duties to ensure an enjoyable and successful banquet event. They conduct meetings to keep the staff informed on changes in the services or policy of their job and as well manage staff problems and proffering solutions immediately.

    They also organize banquet setup, preserve the stock supply, and makes sure that all the policies guiding the company and environmental regulations are strictly adhered to. In addition, they ensure that all staff member handles the foods with safety measures to avoid contamination of the guests’ meals. Furthermore, they play a vital role in observing the guests and finding out when they need the banquet members’ attention for complaints, requests, or assistance as this enables them the opportunity to serve the host’s guests adequately.

    Banquet Captain is answerable for the cleanliness of the event venue; therefore, they ensure that the venue is properly cleaned before and after the banquet. Also, they are responsible for checking the facilities to be used during the banquet to ensure they are in order, before the start of the event. The Banquet Captain oversees the dress code of the banquet members. They ensure that staff is properly groomed. It is pertinent that a banquet captain has good leadership skills and the ability to multitask, being able to communicate effectively with both the event host and the banquet staff on the progress of the event to ensure that the banquet runs smoothly. They also ensure that all valuable items left behind by guests are turned in for proper retrieval on the following day.

    Job Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Directing Event Setup staff in the setup/teardown of event for the Sonoran Room/Patio, Event Lawn, Pool Patio, etc.
    • Arrive to the venue early to make sure that all lights are on & set appropriately, turn AC/Heat, unlock all doors. Arrange for the room/venue to have lights turned off and to be locked up after the event.
    • Be the liaison between guest, kitchen, dining room staff, bar staff to coordinate timing of program.
    • Be onsite early enough to greet group.
    • Seeing to the clearing of all tables of glasses, plates, and trays and the removal of all linens
    • Rearranging all the chairs around tables appropriately

    The night auditor’s job is to make sure that the hotel’s financial records from the day are accurate and balanced by comparing each department’s receipt totals to the report totals. The night auditor prints off reports for the various departments and makes sure they are put in the appropriate boxes. The auditor is also expected to assist with answering the phone and assisting guests when necessary as well as performing check ins when needed.

    Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Respond to customer calls and complaints to correct temperature conditions in a positive, polite and timely manner. Monitor public space temperatures, making appropriate adjustments when necessary and start/stop fans as required. Interact with the Operating Engineer and assist in start-up, shut down and operation of all HVAC equipment. Visually inspect gauges, dials and mechanical equipment, make basic mathematical calculations, and move and climb on all types of uneven surfaces. Must lift objects weighing up to 100 (??) lbs. to waist height, work in extreme hot, cold and wet conditions; grasp and manipulate tools and materials, and have excellent finger dexterity. Works with refrigerants, oils, solvents and chemicals.
    • Visually inspect, operate, maintain and repair HVAC equipment in the power plant and mechanical equipment rooms throughout the facility using knowledge of building mechanical systems such as water distribution, steam supply, pressure reducing stations, chiller and boiler operation. Operate fan systems and maintain temperature controls. Read blue prints and technical manuals, disassemble and reassemble equipment associated with the HVAC trade using various tools and equipment. Involves movement of heavy materials.
    • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and related equipment. Identify and troubleshoot problems, make repairs as follows: replace mechanical seals, re-pack pumps and valves, replace bearings and belts and check for proper alignment, repair fan coil units, make minor sheet metal repairs, braze and solder, calibrate controls, work on pressure vessels, replace piping and fittings and maintain appropriate records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
    • Following manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for preventative maintenance of all HVAC equipment.
    • Monitor, maintain and test Life Safety systems as required to comply with local fire codes. Maintain stand pipe, sprinkler and interior fire alarm systems.
    • Respond to requests throughout the facility to make the necessary repairs to plumbing fixtures in a timely and courteous manner. Maintains, repairs and replaces water, steam, gas and drain piping within the facility to ensure proper operations and functions of piping systems. The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic must be familiar with piping materials, sizes, measurements and be able to thread pipe and sweat copper. Knowledge of installing PVC; no-hub, threaded, and copper pipe is necessary. This work will involve lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to 75 pounds; working in ceilings and from ladders or other uneven surfaces. The need to work in confined spaces, awkward positions, wet, unpleasant and unsanitary conditions is required.
    • Maintain, repair and replace plumbing fixtures, valves and steam traps to keep equipment in working order. The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic must have considerable knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures in order to resolve problems and make repairs. The individual must be able to use the tools required of the trade such as electric snake, threading machine and basic hand tools. Working in confined spaces and lifting of materials up to 75 pounds is required.
    • Maintain grease traps and sewage ejector pits to prevent waste line blockages. The plumber will be required to keep this equipment clean and maintained on a routine basis. Chemical treatment is required to maintain these systems.
    • Maintain fire standpipe, sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers throughout the facility to ensure proper working condition and fire protection in compliance with local fire codes. The individual is required to know how to recharge pressurized water extinguishers or have the ability to learn within new hire training. Lifting and carrying of fire extinguisher weighing up to 50 lbs. is required.
    • Change filters on all supply air fans and fan coil units requiring the ability to grasp hand tools and adjust and maintain equipment.
    • Clean ceiling diffusers, return air registers and toilet exhausts. Must climb ladders or use a lift, occasionally working at heights above 30 feet.

    SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

    In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

    • Ability to perform the necessary repairs to moderately complex equipment such as vacuum cleaners, toasters, lamps and small appliances on an as needed basis. Work is performed in a workshop environment and requires working at a work bench.
    • Due to the nature of the business the HVAC Maintenance Mechanic may be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor such as assisting other trades, serve on hotel fire brigade.
    • Set up/Breakdown of power and lighting equipment for exhibits, meetings and banquets. This will involve pushing, pulling and lifting of equipment and materials (up to 50 lb.) and using a man lift to reach areas (up to 30 feet) in a construction type environment.

     Hair past collar length must be restrained. No gum chewing while on Club property.

    • Make sure Pro Shop desk has your cell phone number

     Perform daily opening and closing inventory. Inventory sheets must be dated, signed and turned in with closing paperwork.

    • Must check with F& B Manager before leaving the property. Maintain an inventory sheet that reflects daily sales. Ensure the chits are closed to the correct Member.
    • Check expiration dates on food and beverage products in beverage cart storeroom. Rotate and organize products and inform management to order new product when necessary based on par levels. Confim cart is fully operational before starting rounds, (gas, air in tires, oil etc.).
    • Park and hose down cart at the end of the shift. Carts must be kept clean at all times. • Must have knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
    • Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with Arizona law. Keep beer coolers and snack boxes clean and organized.
    • Must be available to work on major holidays. • Must attend beverage cart training classes. • Follow all Safety guidelines
