- Class A PGA Member is preferred.
- Golf operations management or assistant management experience.
- Experience in all aspects of golf operations, and programs: Tournaments, Outings, Clinics, Lessons, Camps, and other special events/functions at the course
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and leadership skills will be required to interact with guests and pass holders on a regular basis.
- Candidate should have a proven record of providing outstanding service at the highest level possible.
- The GP will report directly to Jennifer Riley, General Manager
- The GP will be responsible for pro-shop, operations, golfer check-ins and payment, tee sheet maintenance, including add-ons and pairings.
- Ensure POS Systems are up to date with pro-shop (foreUP)
- Organize and manage all golf programs: Tournaments, Outings, Clinics, Lessons, Camps, and other Special Events/ Functions at the course.
- Develop, monitor and maintain a fundamental management philosophy, with input from the General Manager, to guide pro-shop personnel towards optimal results and employee/morale. Be a “team and culture builder” who brings out the best in those around them by setting clear goals.
- Support and help grow the game of golf for various groups that are a valuable part of the golf community. This includes new and existing programming that will encourage continued participation at the course.
- Strength in running day to day operations with a strong understanding of golf course structure and management.
- Assist the GM with merchandise purchasing for the pro shop.
- Serve as a community liaison for the course. Meet with special interest groups to positively impact growth in pass holder and daily fee play.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of pro-shop operations; manage the day-to-day personnel function; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s polices and applicable laws.
- Direct outside golf operations, ensuring that the outside golf supervisor properly controls patron and guest services. Responsible for the set-ups and maintenance of practice range, starter, ranger, cart maintenance, bag storage, and course repair activities.

- Completing side work such as: polishing glassware, preparing drink garnishes, making drink mixes, restocking fridges, regular cleaning of beverage machines, restocking paper items, cleaning of bar areas etc.

- Occasionally helping in the dish pit, working bar cart/tournaments and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment.
- Resetting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
- Completing side work such as: polishing silverware, polishing glassware, folding linen, regular cleaning of beverage machines, preparing side sauces, cleaning of server areas etc.

Pro Shop Attendant
Pro Shop Attendants are the first people to greet our guests, so the ideal candidate has a great attitude, is knowledgeable about golf and can quickly check guests in for their tee times. Multi-tasking is a must in this position. Duties include, but are not limited to: checking guests in, making tee times, answering phones, assisting bar staff, selling pro shop merchandise, beverages and snacks, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked Pro Shop.

Outside Services
The outside services position at Priest Lake Golf Course is something we also like to call “the course ninja” – this person does everything from mowing, to washing carts, to maintaining flower beds, to keeping our sand traps and tee boxes in pristine condition. The ideal candidate for the Outside Services job is someone who loves to be outside in a beautiful location and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Someone who takes direction well, learns quickly, and doesn’t mind working alone.

Chef/Cook
Sandbagger’s Bar and Grill is the best kept secret at Priest Lake. We have a small but amazing menu and cater to locals and tourists alike. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with menu, food ordering, determining nightly and daily specials, cooking on the line, cooking for tournaments and events (buffet style), keeping a well-stocked and organized kitchen, dishes, prep and weekly cleans.
