About Forever Resorts

Located in Kanab Utah Forever Resorts has three properties with exciting opportunities for working and living in a great place within just hours of 7 of America's amazing National Parks! 

These properties include The Parry Lodge, a historic hotel opened in the early 1930's. Denny’s Wigwam sells the finest array of Native American goods as well as western wear in the area. Ironhorse Restaurant & Saloon is the only full service bar in Southern Utah serving smoked BBQ as well as great steaks, seafood and other comfort food selections. 

Kanab, Utah is known as Little Hollywood - over 200 western movies have been filmed in the area over the years. The town is also the commercial center of a large farming, ranching & recreational community. The city is the county seat of Kane County. At 4970ft. Kanab is centrally located right in the middle of 10 of America’s greatest scenic wonders – making it the perfect base-camp for exploring, hiking, boating, photography or back country adventure.

Room and Board

Employees may reside onsite in dormitories or seek out their own housing. Rooms, kitchens and baths are shared. Most meals are the responsibility of the employee, some shift meals are available for a discounted cost. Linens and bedding is provided. $3.00 per day is deducted from your paycheck for room. A $100 room deposit is required. Laundry facilities are provided free for all employees.

Employee Perks

Employee discounts are offered in the Gift Shop and Dining Rooms. You can also visit nearby Forever Resorts Properties, like the Grand Canyon North Rim & The Lodge at Bryce Canyon, as guests for a small fee as the availability presents itself.

Located centrally to 7 National Parks as well as Lake Powell National Recreation area the possibilities are endless for outdoor recreation. Local festivals, rodeos, county fairs abound as the chances for seeing the west are all in your front yard.

Getting Here and Getting Around

If traveling by public transport, the closest International Airports are Las Vegas, Nevada & Salt Lake City, Utah. St. George & Cedar City, Utah airports are the closest domestic hubs, and have limited flight schedules.

We provide transportation to and from St. George Utah to Kanab.

Some organized travel is provided to the associates while here. There is NO local transportation service in Kanab.

This region is blanketed in amazing National Parks, Monuments, and public lands - it would take a lifetime to explore them all! Spending a summer in Kanab is a good start. Our location positions you in an ideal spot to be near enough to enjoy and explore these wonders in your time off, but set outside just enough to avoid the crowds that come along with the high season visitation.

Besides visiting the 11 Natural Wonders right here in Southern Utah, there are a ton of fun things to do in and around Kanab, Utah such as:

Sand boarding, Paddle boarding, four-wheeling, Hummer Tours, repelling, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Boating, History tours, Little Hollywood walk of fame, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary tour, canyoneering, photography and many other great opportunities.

Our Jobs

Most positions must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand on feet for extended periods of time.



Wait tables, pour and serve alcoholic drinks in a very fast paced environment. Previous experience required. Excellent customer service skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Current responsible service card for Utah.


Prepares food consistent with the Chef's standards using menu recipes. Minimum three years cooking experience in a full service dining establishment.  Expertise as Prep-cook, Saute cook, Fry cook, Broiler cook or Pantry lead.  Must provide Utah food handlers certification.

Front of the House Restaurant Manager

Oversee daily FOH operations of Iron Horse Restaurant and Saloon. Perform all aspects of the restaurant staff position. In addition, supervise and train 10 FOH staff, make schedules, attend manager meetings, perform payroll reporting functions, find solutions for guest complaints and promote a teamwork environment. Previous FOH experience required. Must have current responsible service card for Utah.

Guest Service Agent

Greets and assists guests as needed at the Front Desk. Must have prior experience with heavy guest services contact, proficiency on computers, minimum 1 year money handling and cash register experience. Must have high school diploma, GED or acceptable experience. Previous Opera experience preferred.


Responsible for receiving, greeting and seating guests in the dining room in a timely manner. Bussing of tables. Prefer experience in a casual dining setting with heavy customer service.


Cleans guest rooms daily includes, but is not limited to, making beds, cleaning and mopping bathroom and vanity, vacuuming carpets, removing dirty linen, supplying clean linens, etc.  Responsible for maintaining security of all guest rooms occupied and unoccupied.

Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher

Performs duties to maintain kitchen work area, equipment and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly fashion.  Assist in food preparation. Minimum one year of experience in a full service restaurant or food institution.  Verifiable knowledge of a kitchen operation and equipment.


Responsible for general property maintenance and upkeep. Must have valid driver license / good driving record, knowledge of OSHA, and previous experience with a large property. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry necessary - knowledge of HVAC a plus. Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Retail Cashier

Keeps the sales floor and storage areas clean/organized and merchandise displayed neatly. Ensures proper opening and closing procedures. Performs cashiering, assist customers with selections and purchases. Also responsible for assisting with cold food preparation.


Responsible for providing excellent guest service in a timely, professional manner to all guests in a fine dining restaurant. Must have previous experience in a fine dining restaurant, must be Utah SMART certified. Needs to be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol. Prefer knowledge of Micros POS.
