Okemo Mountain Resort has full and part-time employment opportunities in a variety of areas - indoors and out, both day and evening shifts. We are looking for enthusiastic, service-oriented people to help shape our guest experience from the time of their arrival to the end of their stay. Training is provided in many areas to complement a helpful and friendly attitude.
Room and Board
While Okemo does not provide employee housing, we do provide a Housing Referral List of rental properties in the area that we provide as a resource to our employees. In addition, we have an informational flyer for applicants to assist in securing seasonal housing, by listing the many resources available. Getting Here and Getting Around
The Current, a transit operated out of Bellows Falls, VT has stops on a daily basis in Bellows Falls, Chester, Springfield, Proctorsville and Ludlow, all the way to Rutland, VT. It picks up and drops off at Okemo beginning the day after Thanksgiving through the first week of April. It is free of charge to Okemo employees riding to and from work, and you must present your season pass/employee ID to receive this benefit. Note: The pick-up and drop-off times for this transit are designed to accommodate the resort operation. For more information please visit http://crtransit.org/. In addition, Okemo Mountain Resort offers an Employee Shuttle that has designated stops/times and services the villages of Ludlow and Proctorsville, VT.
Okemo offers a wide variety of positions including front desk/guest services, sales, call center reservations, building maintenance, mountain operations, ski and snowboard instructors, lift operations and maintenance, day care, culinary services, housekeeping and evening custodial staff, CDL shuttle drivers, snowmakers and more!
Our first Job Fair for the winter season will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Clock Tower Base Lodge. The fair will be held from 10 am to 3 pm. Our job fair is a unique opportunity to meet with all of our hiring managers to discuss the specifics of each position - responsibilities, schedule, wage, duration of position, and more.
