As the Club Manager you will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the Club facilities for the comfort and safety of our members and guests and for the maintenance and security of Club property year-round. You are expected to be a self-starter and have an honest, respectful work ethic and be diligent, resourceful and committed to excellent customer service. Flexibility, team play, a positive attitude and sense of humor are essential.
Your duties will include: administration and maintenance of Club facilities, grounds keeping, building improvement, construction, snow removal on roads and roofs as needed, and all other operational activities. The Manager position is year-round while the other employees are seasonal.
Compensation package is commensurate with experience and typical for the area.
HOUSING
You will be provided with complimentary housing on the property. The Club Manager's house is a new, picturesque two-bedroom cabin with loft completed in 2023.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a management position
- Proficiency in basic computer programs
- Ability to effectively communicate with Club officers, staff, members and vendors serving the Club
- General knowledge of plumbing, systems and building maintenance
- Ability to reach, grasp, stand, walk, lift, carry, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and operate a motor vehicle safely.

We're looking for a "seasoned" executive chef to direct a small staff, creating breakfast and dinner daily, Monday through Saturday, for members and guests of the North Fork Club. We look for folks who have food service experience in both front and back of the house operations. The season begins in June and ends few days following Labor Day.
This is a full-time responsibility for the summer season.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Housing in a quaint cabin and full board is provided without charge. An end-of-season bonus is typically awarded by the Board.
The Executive Chef is responsible for all tasks related to the daily maintenance and upkeep of the dining and lodge, including:
- Hiring, management and supervision of staff
- Developing and implementing creative menus
- Controlling food and supplies costs
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with vendors and purveyors
- Supervision of staff in cleaning and upkeep of the lodge and lodge rooms
- Management of member and guest reservations
- Preparation of member invoices
- Work with caretaker to schedule repairs to minimize negative impact on kitchen routine.
The Ideal Candidate- Five years' experience in the culinary industry as a chef or sous chef
- Formal culinary training is preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer programs
- Ability to effectively communicate with Club officers, staff, members and vendors serving the Club
