The National Ability Center is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that has united around a collective vision to inspire individual achievement and create a global impact for people of all abilities. A fundamental aspiration of the National Ability Center is to provide high-quality, inclusive programs to individuals and families of all abilities and backgrounds, including those in need.
The National Ability Center is based in Park City, Utah and offers programs in Park City, Salt Lake City and surrounding areas and Moab.

The Employee Experience
Our staff is well-educated, with years of experience, professional training, and certifications. Instructors with disabilities serve in many aspects of the programs and act as role models for our participants. In addition, our professional staff is augmented with interns from university therapeutic recreation and special education programs as well as adult and peer partners who attend experiential training clinics about proper use and maintenance of adaptive equipment and topics relating to individuals with disabilities.
The ideal candidate is passionate about adaptive recreation and empowering individuals of all abilities by building self-esteem, confidence and lifetime skills through sport, recreation, and educational programs.
Room and Board
Lodging is provided for the rafting positions in Moab, Utah.
Pro-deals are available for staff.
Getting Here and Getting Around
We have great airport access to recreation in Northern Utah from Salt Lake City. There is a good pubic transport system in Salt Lake City and in Park City; however personal vehicles are recommended.
Utah has some of the greatest outdoor recreation in the country. Hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, skiing and much more are all available within minutes to hours with an unlimited number of locations available.
