Compliance Coordinator

The Compliance Coordinator provides general and varied administrative support toward the management of Mt. Rainier, including the areas of CMMS Facilities Management, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Health & Safety. The Compliance Coordinator examines, monitors, documents, and reports on the Company process compliance with standards.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides administrative support for management and engineering services that included Quality Assurance, CMMS Facilities Management, and Environmental Health & Safety.
• Support facilities department in developing project scopes for NPS approval.
• Completes all necessary documentation for ISO standards systems, including Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Food Safety.
• Monitors Company ISO standards compliance, and communicates when corrections, improvements, or new standards are required.
• Supply weekly, monthly, and annual compliance reporting to key personnel and NPS.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timeliness, urgency, common sense, and have a very strong attention to detail.
• Able to obtain certification on Section 106- Council of Historic Preservation
• Able to obtain Environmental Specialist Certification-360
• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Computer literacy with Windows operating system and Windows Office software.
• Physical on-site presence at the Ashford office is required.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers, vendors, and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
• Ability to read and write in English fluently and legibly.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and perform repetitive motion.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
