Working at Mormon Lake Lodge is fast-paced and challenging.  We have a Steakhouse & Saloon, Gift Store, Pizzeria, Event Space, RV Park, and a Rodeo Arena all within walking distance of each other. Our seasonal positions start date can be in April or May.  The end date in the fall is usually September to November.

  • Bartender

    Dining Room
    Mormon Lake, Arizona

    The Bartender prepares drinks, takes food orders, runs food, accurately operates a cash register and POS system, keeps bar products stocked, keeps a clean and orderly bar, and provides excellent customer service.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Learns and maintains complete knowledge of restaurant menu items, prices and specifications for placing guest orders.
    • Greets guests promptly and professionally.
    • Records food and drink orders from guests, enters orders accurately and delivers food, alcohol and other beverages to guests.
    • Sells and prepares beverages/drinks to established guidelines and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
    • Ensures bar is properly stocked and prepped before the beginning of each assigned shift.
    • Properly enforces state and federal liquor laws including checking identification before serving customers alcohol.
    • Follows sanitation codes and procedures to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains proper beer, liquor and wine costs.
    • Follows established wait staff and kitchen policies and procedures.
    • Performs proper accounting procedures to use the computer system, making deposits and completing closing reports.
    • Performs proper bar closing procedures, cleaning the bar and seating areas, restocking the bar and FOH where needed, and ensuring the building is secured when leaving.
    • Rotates inventory when appropriate.
    • Completes cleaning projects as assigned.
    • Reports tips accurately at the end of each shift.
    • Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
    • Works extra shifts and hours as required.
    • Assists in other departments as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Must be 19 years of age (21 in UT).

  • Cocktail Server

    The Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering alcoholic beverages and food to guests in a timely manner and providing excellent customer service.

  • Dishwasher

    Kitchen

    The Dishwasher helps assists with operational success by ensuring all cookware (pots and pans), dishes, utensils and glassware are clean and available in a timely manner.  Responsible for organizing, stocking and storing all cleaned dishes and other assigned areas.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Load, unload and operate the dish washing machine; add proper amount of dish-washing liquid/chemicals as needed.
    • Follow all procedures necessary to keep the dishwashing machine operating at health department standards.
    • Properly store and organize clean pots, pans, dishes and utensils in proper areas.
    • Notify the Kitchen Manager when the necessary dish-washing liquid/chemicals or supplies are running low and need to be ordered.
    • Check, sweep and/or mop all floors to keep clean and free of debris.
    • Check and clean all drains empty and rinse drain screens/traps as needed to keep free of debris.
    • Check and restock all hand-washing stations with necessary supplies such as soap and paper towels, etc.
    • Clean, sanitize and polish all food areas and stainless-steel surfaces daily or as needed.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Receive incoming food deliveries and help store food items in proper places as necessary.
    • Clean assigned areas after each meal session including bus tables to remove dirty dishes, wipe down/clean tables, chairs and empty trash bins, etc.
    • Scrub and clean ovens, as needed.
    • Assist Cooks with food preparation and service as needed.
    • Follows all Kitchen, health, and sanitation procedures.
    • Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.

    Front Desk

    The Front Desk Agent is responsible for coordinating reservations, greeting and registering guests upon arrival, assisting with guest requests, processing payments, and providing excellent service to all guests and visitors.

    • Greets guests upon arrival, performs check-ins, provides guest with any information needed while ensuring customer satisfaction.

    The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the neat and pleasing appearance of the property.  Uses various groundskeeping equipment and machines to maintain, care for, and modify property grounds and landscapes.

    • Plants, waters, weeds, and fertilizes plants throughout the property.
    • Uses various hand tools, gas-powered, and electric-powered groundskeeping equipment in a safe manner.
    • Maintains the appearance and safety of grounds and public areas such as sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, etc.; Collects trash, empties trash bins, removes plant debris, and consults with management about removal of plants that may be a danger to guests.
    • Keeps all equipment and tools clean; Performs regular maintenance and repairs to groundskeeping equipment.

    Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and the timely, thorough and consistent turn-over and cleanliness of assigned guest rooms.

    • Stocks and organizes supply cart.
    • Removes soiled/dirty linens from all beds.
    • Inspects linens prior to placing in rooms and returns any torn or dirty linens to supply room.
