About Marvine Ranch, LLC

We are a private family ranch on which we raise black angus cows, keep a small, high quality horse herd, and enjoy all the splendors that this exquisite corner of the Rocky Mountains has to offer. We spend our spring, summer and fall seasons facilitating the enjoyment of our guests’ ranch experience, tending our beautiful gardens, keeping our horses in top shape, and overseeing the flourishing of our mother cows and their babies. Our kitchen staff is overseen by some of the country’s most acclaimed culinary artists, lending our serving staff the opportunity to learn and collaborate with the very best. We are a team of special individuals who work hard, have fun, and take a tremendous amount of pride in what we do.

The Employee Experience

Those who come to work here are driven individuals who relish good company and the finer things in life. We have a five-day on/two-days off workweek that allows our team to enjoy all the benefits of living and working in a Rocky Mountain paradise. While we pride ourselves on work ethic and attention to detail, we also measure our success in peaceful days off, joyful campfires, high-quality coworkers, and the unequivocal satisfaction of a job well done.

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidates are hard working, fun-loving, dynamic people. Motivated self-starters with attention to detail will thrive in this mountain paradise.

Room and Board

Housing is provided as part of the employee’s compensation package. While each housing unit is unique, most are single occupancy. Lunches are provided for employees on their working days.

Employee Perks

The pristine Flat Tops Wilderness is our backyard. Few ranches enjoy access to the raw natural beauty and unadulterated splendors of the Rockies that the Marvine Ranch enjoys. Established in the valley in the early 20th century, we are a widely respected and connected ranch that can facilitate your ability to explore the limitless outdoor playground that awaits you.

Getting Here and Getting Around

We recommend that you bring a personal vehicle so that you can get around on your days off. While the ranch itself is largely easily traversed on foot or by bicycle, you will need your own transportation to get to town for groceries and other necessities. Most facilities on the ranch are easily within walking distance, but bicycles are always a great thing to have.

No public transportation is available.

For Fun

While we are a remote ranch, there is no shortage of wonderful ways to enjoy our location. There are limitless hiking trails, miles of National Forest fishing, local music, and a local brewery to enjoy. Famous Trappers Lake and its adjoining Trappers Lake Lodge are our neighbors who are able to boast exquisite hiking trails, kayaking, fishing, food, drinks, and live music.

The town of Meeker is host to Meekerpalooza in June and The Meeker Sheepdog Trials in early September. White River rafting in Glenwood Springs, rafting in Steamboat Springs, and the towns of Vail and Aspen are all within a few hours drive from the ranch.
