We are in the Hospitality Business, with all the work activity to support out small Historic Hotel and Motel and Gift Shop.  We are searching for self-driven people who are motivated to provide service to the customer at an exceptional level.  We feel that Yellowstone itself brings customers to us but by our products and mostly our service they come again and again and tell their friends what a great place the Madison is and while they are visiting the Madison they should also see the nearby Park. 

To enjoy working here it is simple, be to work when scheduled, complete tasks, help other workers, be honest and trustworthy and most importantly treating every guest with respect.  

We normally have reservations from Mid May to Mid October.  In May we assemble on May 1st and get the operation ready to receive customers and open the operations as soon as possible. 

We typically staff with 11-14 people, working 6 day weeks, 6-8 hours per day, providing you at least one day off to take care of personal duties. 

Located just outside of the park you will have ample time to experience all that Yellowstone has to offer along with the surrounding area. 

We have Bikes, Kayaks that can be checked out for use, your expected to safe and take care of these items returning them in a condition acceptable to the management.

    Hotel Operations
    West Yellowstone, Montana

    Hours are typically 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, 6-day schedule

    • Learn the standards for cleaning the Hotel and Motel rooms and maintenance of all common areas inside and outside to meet the Guests expectations and the health department’s standards.
    • Provide a written and verbal reports
    • Inspect Rooms and linens for damage, pre-treating of the stains.
    • Bed making, and changing of the linens.
    • Replenish supplies
    • Vacuum carpets
    • Sweep/scrub floors
    • Empty wastebaskets
    • Clean toilets, sinks and showers/tubs
    • Dust and polish furniture
    • Use cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment
    • Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 40 lbs) while navigating stairs or pushing of supply carts and equipment.
    • Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling.
    • Working inside and outside in all weather conditions.
    • Be able to work independently and follow instructions in English verbally and written regarding priorities and tasks.
    • Be knowledgeable for giving guests accurate helpful information to enjoy Yellowstone Park.
    • Work as a team to accomplish the work needed daily and other duties as assigned.

    Hotel Operations
    West Yellowstone, Montana

    Laundry 1 position –  Hours are typically 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm as needed.
    This position may work shorter/longer hours subject to workload/business levels.

    • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
    • Provide clean correctly folded matched set linens by inspecting linens for damage, hand scrubbing stains as needed. Stocking of carts and storage locations.
    • Delivering Bedding and Roll-away beds as needed.
    • Quality assessment of the linen for the Hotel and Motel rooms to meet the Guests expectations and the health department’s standards.
    • Operate Washing Machines and Dryers following the manufacturer’s guidelines. Provide clean correct
    • Assist in ordering the proper amounts of product to meet the min/max from the supplier such as cleaning supplies
    •  General vacuum maintenance and general condition of cleaning tools.
    • Empty Outside wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Working inside and outside in all weather conditions.  Water live plants.
    • Service toilets, sinks and showers/tubs as necessary to ensure proper operation.
    • Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 50lbs) while navigating stairs or pushing of supply carts and equipment etc..
    • Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling. Working inside and outside conditions.
    • Be able to work independently and follow instructions in English verbally and written regarding priorities and tasks.
    • Be willing and knowledgeable for giving guests accurate helpful information to enjoy the greater Yellowstone Park area.
    • Work as a team to accomplish the work needed daily and other duties as assigned.
    • Handyman skills are necessary to assist in building maintenance.

  • Retail Sales Associate

    Gift Shop
    West Yellowstone, Montana

    6-7 hour shifts with a lunch, 6 days per week. Store hours are from 9:00 am to 10 pm open hours.

    • Customer Interaction, assist them by answering questions, locating items, suggestive selling practices. Bagging and packaging items for reasonable travel conditions.  Accurately recording “point of sales” computer system (POS) transactions.
    • Help in creating attractive displays. Keeping the salesroom and storage rooms clean
    • Be accurate in tendering cash and returning change, calling out amount tendered in ‘Dollars and Cents”. Count back change from the amount due to amount tendered. Check for counterfeit, bills and Credit Cards. Alerts manager or police to theft, counterfeit, or guest concerns.
    • Be capable of navigating stairs with products, be capable of occasionally lifting boxes up to 50 pounds. Working inside and outside in all conditions.
    • Maintains a good teamwork environment with Managers and Co-workers. Working in Hotel registration may occasionally be required.
    • Give accurate helpful information to Yellowstone Park Visitors.
    • Other duties as assigned. Occasional room cleaning as needed.
