Lookout Pass is building a new chair lift and doubling skiable terrain for 2022-23! 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Terrain Park Supervisor/Builder will oversee the daily maintenance of the terrain parks. Has good public relations. Sets a good example of terrain park etiquette at all times. Keeps track of and maintains tools and equipment (rakes, shovels, drills, radios, etc) Inspects and tests features within the terrain parks to ensure all features are free of damage and to determine if snow maintenance is required. Communicates with the Mountain Manager and Grooming Supervisor to go over daily plans and events.

Summer role would be based on experience and qualification either in summer operations or on the Route of the Hiawatha bike trail 

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years experience working in terrain parks
• Must have freestyle terrain skiing/riding experience
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60 pounds on an occasional basis, and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis
• Ability to safely ski or snowboard in adverse conditions and on steep terrain, including freestyle terrain
• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices, and basic office equipment on an occasional basis
• Ability to work outside in ANY AND ALL weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, high winds, and cold temperatures
