The Employee Experience

We place a great deal of importance on making sure staff enjoy their job AND their time off. The surrounding area is a wonderland of infinite outdoor possibilities that we want you to find time to explore. Our little slice of Paradise is a summer tradition for many guests AND employees. Year after year, traveling student staff have come from all over the world to return to The Longhorn to work. We invest in building meaningful relationships with staff because we love when past staff returns seasonally.

We work hard. Daily, we answer phones, clean rooms, empty garbage, do laundry, mow lawns- and the list goes on, but we relax, play, and adventure just as hard. Many people visit Dubois to work on different ranches in the area and realize they have found something they didn't know they were looking for. Whether that 'something' is a sense of belonging, adventure, a feeling of home, or the unique experience of living remotely, Dubois finds a way to live deep within your heart long after you've left.
