Apply NowThe Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations for a multi-entity resort consisting of 25 departments, 3 companies, 2 HOAs, and 200+ employees. This role supports the Director of Finance by supervising accounting workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial processes, coordinating cross-departmental communication, and maintaining strong internal controls. The Accounting Supervisor also assists with preparing financial reports, reviewing departmental submissions, and supporting month-end and year-end activities. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead, train, and support staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Supervision & Department Oversight
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure tasks are completed
accurately and on schedule
Provide guidance, training, and support to accounting staff and
administrative personnel
Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to internal
controls and financial policies
Assist the Director of Finance with departmental oversight and
operational planning
Financial Reporting & Month-End Support
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial documents
prepared by staff
Assist with assembling monthly financial packets, variance summaries,
and departmental reporting
Support the Director of Finance with audit preparation, budget
development, and compliance tracking
Ensure accuracy and completeness of multi-entity financial records
Accounts Payable, Receivable & Revenue Support
Oversee AP/AR processes across 25 departments and multiple
companies
Review invoices, coding, approvals, and vendor documentation for
accuracy
Support revenue reconciliation, POS/PMS balancing, and HOA billing
workflows
Assist with resolving discrepancies and improving process efficiency
Data & Document Management
Review departmental submissions (budgets, forecasts, inventories,
capital requests) for accuracy and completeness
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for multi-entity
accounting records
Ensure confidentiality of payroll, financial, and personnel information
Cross-Departmental Coordination
Serve as a liaison between Finance, HR, Payroll, and operational
departments
Provide guidance to department managers on financial procedures,
deadlines, and documentation requirements
Support communication with auditors, owners, and HOA boards as
needed
Process Improvement & Project Support
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve
accuracy
Assist with updating SOPs, internal controls, and financial policies
Coordinate special projects assigned by the Director of Finance

Education/Experience:
3–5 years of accounting or finance experience; hospitality or multi-entity
experience strongly preferred
Prior experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory role preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Ability to lead, train, and support staff effectively
