    Job Summary:

    As a Housekeeping Room Inspector, you will be responsible for supporting the housekeeping operation for all our properties by completing routine inspections to ensure Guest room needs and company brand standards are being met.  You will work closely with the Supervisor, Manager, and Director of Housekeeping to provide ongoing skills-based training and coaching for the housekeeping team.

    As a Housekeeping Room Inspector, you will:

    • Complete routine inspection checklists to ensure Guests are being served and rooms meet the company brand standard.  
    • Support the supervisor in the daily operation to drive results and provide real time coaching and training. Report any performance and/or behavior concerns immediately to supervisor, manager and/or director.  
    • Work with the supervisor, manager and director to provide ongoing skills-based training and coaching for housekeepers. 
    • Work to critically think through issues and identify the best outcome. 
    • Help team members to prioritize and utilize available resources to deliver the brand standard.  
    • Collaborate freely and bring forward on-brand opportunities to evolve and improve guest services and the overall experience at our properties
    • Utilize all tools and systems properly and effectively.  

    You will bring...

    • Minimum of 2 years of resort and/or hotel housekeeping experience
    • Ability to train, demonstrate, and coach team members
    • Be well versed on best practices for safety in the workplace, efficiency in cleaning and leading a diverse team

    Your day would be comprised of greeting guests as they arrive and depart. Working with a variety of departments within our organization such as housekeeping and maintenance. Communicate guest needs and ensure that the details of their stay are just as we promised. Answer phone calls and reply to emails for reservation inquiries and service needs. Deliver special amenities to guests as requested. Strong communication skills and being technology inclined is preferred for this position. Your work environment will be mostly standing at the welcome desk in either the Inn at Cape Kiwanda or Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa while using a variety of Microsoft based programs that help support our businesses.

    • Guide the facilities and maintenance teams in both daily operations and long-term projects that reinforce the Company’s Brand Standards and Core Values. 
    • Work along side the Director of Development and Senior Leadership in the areas of design development, cost calculation, contract negotiation, and the safe and efficient execution of facilities and maintenance plans.
    • Ensure alignment of all facilities and maintenance plans with the strategic goals of the company; contribute to strategy development in the areas of facility design, maximum efficiency, and team member and guest experience.
    • Manages costs, materials, and labor expenses; submit budgetary proposals and assessments to property leaders and Director of Development. 
    • Ensure compliance with all Fire Department and Health Department requirements; maintain up to date Federal, State and Local governing agencies’ certifications through collaboration with property leaders.
    • Lead and/or participate in property safety committees and provide guidance as to best practices.
    • Schedule, coordinate, and inspect all preventative maintenance, refurbishment, and public and team member area projects on a regular basis.
    • Collaborate with property leaders to understand their facilities and maintenance goals and budgets.
    • Effectively interview, lead, coach, and follow-up with team members to ensure maximum productivity and alignment with Company culture and values; train team members on all SOPs to ensure understanding and accountability.
    • Manage and oversee company vendor relationships.
    • Lead property inspections and regular walk throughs to ensure all areas are well maintained and preventative maintenance processes are in place.

    Your restaurant responsibility.  The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of the restaurant.  As well as function as head chef and kitchen supervisor, and manage kitchen staff schedules. The Kitchen Manager will be that person who will always know exactly what to do to bring order to chaos and ensure all things are running smoothly.

    In our fast-paced environment, the Expo plays the important role of setting the pace and flow in the busy kitchen. Acting as the nexus of the restaurant between the kitchen and the front of house, Expos ensure orders are timed, prepared, organized and perfectly served by using strong communication and organizational skills. Expos work with both the service team and the kitchen team to get the food from our chef’s hands, to the server’s tray, to the guest’s table.

    Performance Objectives

    Expo Duties.  Oversee all orders processed by the service team until they are ready to be served to the guest. Communicate with the service team to ensure tickets are entered correctly, and the kitchen team to ensure plates are made correctly. Inspect the plates for quality and proper specification, adds final touches like condiments and garnishes, and then organizes and trays orders to be quickly delivered to our guests by the service team.

    About you. You will be busy! This demanding position requires a high level of focus and stamina. You must have strong communication skills as well as a superior ability to stay organized. You must also be patient and keen enough to do what it takes to deliver nothing but the best to our guests.

    Customer Service.  Expos must have excellent customer service skills.  At times you will be counted on to deliver orders, and communicate with our guests in a meaningful way.

    Experience. You must have previous restaurant experience, preferably as a server, cook, wait staff or expeditor. A Food Handlers Card is required.  

    Team Work.  To deliver world-class food, beer and experiences to our guests, you must be able to work effectively within a team.

    Job Responsibilities/Duties (You will...):

    Our Overnight Guest Services works collaboratively with the Night Audit team to ensure our overnight operation runs smoothly.  Your responsibilities in this important role will include:

    • Front Desk Duties: You will be responsible for the daily operational tasks of the front desk. Greet guests, handle check-ins, checkouts, and guest requests in a friendly, attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Listen & extend assistance to resolve any guest issues that may arise.  
    • Administrative Tasks: You will answer all incoming calls; assisting with any guest needs. Know the special features, amenities, and services of the properties and Pacific City area. Utilize various software to make reservations, communicate between departments and submit work orders to ensure that guest needs are delivered. 
    • Support the Daily Operations: Complete a daily checklist of duties that helps support the daytime operations. This includes but is not limited to; stocking supplies, filling water bottles, and delivering housekeeping baskets. 
    • Be available to assist offsite: You will have a company issued device to receive after hour guest needs. You will be expected to use a company provided vehicle to travel to guests at any of our lodging properties in Pacific City should they require in person assistance. 
    • Support the Night Audit Team: Work as a team to ensure 10 minute & 30 Minute Lunch breaks are covered at each property. Recognize when a team member may need support and lend a hand. 

    Qualifications (You will bring…):

    • Previous front desk/guest service experience in a hotel and/or resort setting preferred (not required)
    • Must be available to work within the hours of 9pm to 7am
    • Experience with cash handling and completing customer service transactions
    • A valid drivers license is required.
    • Familiarity with front office computer software, such as MS Word, Excel, and typical hotel reservation systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle a variety of Guest Service-related situations and thrive in an environment that requires you to multi-task

    Job Summary:

    As a Controller you will be responsible for planning and directing the accounting operations of the Nestucca Ridge Family of Companies.  You will oversee the people and processes of the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Department.  Do you have a strong background in managing a team of accountants and maintaining a caring and fun atmosphere?  Then this is the place for you.

    What you will do:

    • Oversee the people and processes of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly, and annual financial statements, and bank reconciliations.
    • Oversee the preparation of periodic financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
    • Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards.  
    • Oversee training programs and identify training needs.
    • Advise business units on and assist with implementation of accounting and budgeting policies.
    • Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
    • Produce the annual budget and periodic forecasts for each business entity; reports significant budget differences to the Chief Financial Officer.
    • Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
    • Work with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
    • Maintain a culture of caring and fun

    What you will need to be successful:

    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry
    • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
    • Be a forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
    • Advanced level interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and vendors

    Must have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
