As the Dock Operations Manager, this position includes diligently answering telephones, assisting all customers, and providing coworkers / subordinates company product knowledge with effectiveness and efficiency.  It also requires influencing others within the tour department to adhere to company procedures and requirements. This position requires the supervision of the dock operations supervisor, dock representatives, and assistance with driver guides. Overall, it is your responsibility to ensure the highest quality of customer service. 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Manage daily tour operations and activities; includes scheduling all tour staff with assistance from dock supervisor
  • Administer training and cross training of dock supervisor and dock reps
  • Maintain and cultivate a working relationship with cruise lines, transfer companies, and partner vendor personnel
  • Communicate to cruise line reps, transfer companies, and dock reps any delays or weather challenges
  • Monitor quality of all tour functions and products and communicate the need for improvement to the Director
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily tour counts, revenue, and other pertinent information
  • Work closely with operations to coordinate counts and allocations for each day
  • Manage accurate and timely settlement and invoicing of all tour products
  • Participate and assist with FAMS or other promotional events
