The Island Inn is a well established seasonal hotel (since 1907) and restaurant located 11 miles offshore of Mid Coast Maine on beautiful Monhegan Island - an unspoiled nature lover's paradise of woods, cliffs and rocky shores, and a small community of fishermen and artists. Most of Monhegan Island is preserved as a conservation area with 12 miles of hiking trails around the highest headland cliffs on the East Coast and endless rocky coves.  The Island Inn has 32 guest rooms, and an artist residence (Zimmie’s).  In addition, the hotel operates an in-house 60 seat fine-dining restaurant and a free-standing café, the Barnacle.

This historic, seasonal hotel on Monhegan Island, seeks a full-time experienced Cold Station/Kitchen Prep team member.  Become part of an incredible team, while experiencing 5 months of adventure in a truly unique location! All jobs average 40 hrs a week based on a 6-day work schedule.

If you enjoy a friendly team-based work environment, creative space, and breathtaking nature, we encourage you to apply. Our remote location requires that you live on-premises. Housing, laundry facilities, and meals are provided at no charge.  
Please remember that free housing and meals (currently valued at an additional $5 to your hourly rate).
