As the only Aspen hotel to survive the silver crash, the long pre-ski-resort winters, and the Depression, we’ve seen cowboys ride through our doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers gather round over pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen, without experiencing the Jerome.

Room and Board
Hotel Jerome offers reasonably priced employee housing in several locations. All housing options are within a 21 mile radius of the hotel. We offer single and double occupancy units. The double occupancy are dorm style. Depending on the location and unit, rent ranges from $300-$900/month.
Employee Perks
For the winter season you can either choose a free ski pass or an end-of-season bonus. We also offer employee discounted room rates at our 24 other properties within the Auberge Resorts Collection. Availability depends on occupancy levels and holidays are blackout dates.
The Jerome provides lunch daily to our team members at our staff cafeteria.
Getting Here and Getting Around
The Aspen area has a great transportation system from the RAFTA. As a team member, we offer discounted bus passes. The bus runs from Glenwood Springs all the way to Aspen. Bus hours are from as early as 4:00 am to 2 am.
To get to Aspen, you can either fly into the Aspen Airport (ASE), Eagle (EGE), or Grand Junction (GTJ). There are taxi services from all airports that will get you to the hotel.
Aspen is a walkable town. There are grocery stores, restaurants, bars, post office, library and many other places within walkable distance. There are also e-bikes located around town.
For Fun
Working and living in the Aspen area is unlike any other! There is always something going on that you can participate in. From farmers' markets, concerts, festivals, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, and camping in the summer to skiing, snowboarding, and X-Country skiing in the winter. Aspen is an outdoor playground with year-round activities.
