High Hampton Inn and Country Club is a mountain rustic resort located in the Western North Carolina mountains. We are a family owned resort going into our 95th season.

Cashiers, a beautiful village in western North Carolina commonly known as "The Heart Of The Blue Ridge Mountains", is located high on a plateau in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our unique geography boasts hundreds of waterfalls, quiet lakes, stone mountains and amazingly beautiful forests.

In true mountain style, this historic North Carolina Inn offers mountain golf, tennis, pampering spa services, hiking and a 35-acre private mountain lake for swimming, boating, and fishing. Perfect for Blue Ridge summer family vacations and listed in 100 Best Family Resorts, a series of beloved children’s programs entertains children throughout the summer months.

Listed on National Register of Historic Places, tradition and genteel hospitality rule the day at this Cashiers mountain resort where such long-standing customs as Afternoon Tea, dressing for dinner and the art of conversation are held in as high regard as the stunning scenery and flawlessly executed golf, recreation and children’s programs that draw guests back not just year after year, but generation after generation.

High Hampton Inn takes a team approach to hospitality. Team members develop close bonds to one another. We bring hospitality interns and staff to work at our resort from not only the USA but all over the globe.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for High Hampton is someone who is looking to experience hospitality at a resort level with many different departments. We have 116 guests rooms on property, 35 private rental homes, a 300+ seat dining room, an 18 hole golf course, spa & fitness center, boathouse and swimming lake, children's program. We host many upscale weddings, corporate events, and resort parties. We cater to both our guests and Country Club members. We do not accept candidates with a criminal background.

Room and Board

High Hampton Inn offers a limited number of dormitory style rooms for eligible staff.  The monthly fee for housing ranges from $300-$400 per month per individual. Seasonal rentals include all utilities and 2 meals per day provided by the hotel. Our housing is a smoke fee and drug free environment. We have strict housing standards and do not allow parties in staff housing.

Getting Here and Getting Around

High Hampton Inn is located about 70 miles southwest of Asheville, North Carolina. While there is no public transportation we suggest that is is best for all candidates to have a vehicle. This will allow you to experience all that these beautiful mountains have to offer.

On your days off, here are all the awesome things you can do! Play golf, hike, whitewater rafting, zip line, boating, antiquing, restaurants and local sports bars.

High Hampton will open the last week of April and close December 1, 2017. Our peek season is June/July and August. We also have a significant increase in business in fall due to the beautiful leaf season we experience here in the mountains.
