Hatchet Resort

Work and play minutes from two of the nation's most popular national parks

Located in Northern Jackson Hole, the Hatchet Resort is a historic, privately owned hotel nestled in Moran, Wyoming. Fully renovated over the last two years, the Hatchet offers a glimpse of the life of early settlers to Jackson Hole. Built in the 1950's to support motorists and tourism new to our region, the Hatchet is honored to be listed with the Teton County Historical Preservation Board.

The Hatchet is located in Moran, Wyoming (population 501 and elevation 6,900ft) on the edge of Grand Teton National Park and 35 miles from the southern entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Buffalo fork of the Snake River is steps from our resort. Daytime summer temperatures are in the high 70's and low 80's with wonderfully cool evenings in the 40's (Fahrenheit) .
