Goodnews River Lodge was established in 1973. The lodge is still family-owned and operated. We bring together a group of 24 people from all around the US to provide a top-notch fishing experience to 16-24 clients for 12 weeks. The pace is fast and the work is challenging but with the beautiful open land around us, no one seems to notice. You will enjoy the wide-open nature around you.
The Goodnews River Lodge is located in remote SW Alaska about 450 miles from Anchorage, at the edge of the pristine Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. Seven miles up the River from the Bering Sea.
