Our River Manager oversees our long standing rafting and fishing operations on the Wild and Scenic Middle and North Forks of the Flathead River, which form Glacier National Park's southwestern border. River Manager coordinates our annual launch on Montana’s famed, by-permit-only Smith River, too.
Successful River Manager candidates can train and manage novice and experienced raft guides. They can coordinate with our professional, licensed fishing guides. River managers oversee bus drivers and drive buses. They maintain and repair equipment. They help to manage budgets, scheduling, payroll oversight, and more. River Managers greet guests in the main office, assist with answering phones, help gather material for social media, and do anything necessary to support the rafting department. At times, River Managers take guests down the river, too, offering expert Glacier National Park interpretation while always focusing on safety.

More details: $500 moving stipend. Campground housing available. Minimum starting wage $15/hr -- negotiable, overtime ok, increase depending on experience and on certifications, i.e. CPR, WFA, CDL. Need or want these certs to increase your pay? We'll help you out!
Position is seasonal or super seasonal. Year round might become available for the right candidate, too.
