Girl Scouts of Alaska Wilderness Counselors work with a staff partner to plan and deliver outdoor activities to a group of 8-12 girls with whom you live and supervise. This will include leading groups on overnight or multiday canoeing and backpacking trips. When you aren’t on trail with your group, you will create and lead original, age-appropriate activities that totally engage your campers. You will supervise all aspects of your campers’ day including wake up, meals, rest hour, getting ready for bed, and nighttime.

Our Camp:
Our camp creates a community that helps girls unlock their potential while developing life skills. Camp Togowoods is located outside Wasilla on over 400 acres of beautiful forest with two lakes, hiking trails, and marshes to explore. Room and Board is provided for all of our Camp Togowoods Counselors.

Our Staff:
We hold our staff to extremely high standards because our goal is to bring together a team that can change the world. If you work with us you’ll be with others who are passionate about positively impacting kids’ lives and making the world a better place.
