We have open positions in almost all departments across the resort. Out target opening date is May 4th, and we would like to have staff on site in April to complete necessary training and orientation for their season.
We are also bringing back our Seasonal Bonus Program, which you have the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2,000 bonus at the end of the season! Terms and conditions do apply.
Two large group orientation sessions will be held on Wednesday, April 26th. If you are unable to attend this session, there will be ample opportunities to do so throughout the season.

Summary: As the first impression most guests have of the Garland Lodge and Resort golf operation, the Bag Drop Attendant serves the critical role of welcoming guests to the golf course, assisting them with their golf equipment upon arrival and departure, and providing assistance whenever and wherever needed. Individuals must be detail oriented with a positive attitude and enjoy an exciting, fast paced outdoor environment. They must perform well as part of a team, working with staff, management and guests to provide excellent guest service.
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
- Welcomes guests as they arrive at the course and provides excellent guest service.
- Assists guests in removing golf bags from their vehicles and loads them on to the appropriate golf carts.
- Ensures players’ golf clubs are clean and readily available when required.
- Maintains the golf cart fleet ensuring that all carts are clean of all trash, washed, charged and in good working condition.
- Ensures that golf carts are equipped with sand.
- Ensures that the cart storage area is clean, organized and that all safety procedures are followed.
- Greets guests as they complete their rounds, thoroughly cleans their golf clubs and removes bags from carts.
- Communicates with supervisor and/or Director of Golf on matters that need immediate attention.
- Picking balls on the driving range and making sure the driving range is stocked with balls.
- Assists with tournament / outing setup as needed.
- Sort cans and take to commissary daily.
- Take trash to the commissary daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Personal Skills and Characteristics Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:

Summary: The golf shop attendant is responsible for opening and closing the golf shop, processing all guest purchases, registering golfers for their tee-times, handling guest inquires, booking day of tee-times and lessons, and working with other staff members to ensure an efficient player registration process and golf operation.
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
- Opens and closes the pro shop while adhering to the opening/closing checklist to ensure that all tasks are completed.
- Greets guests/golfers as they arrive in clubhouse, checks them in and takes payment.
- Processes all pro shop sales following pre-established money handling procedures.
- Accurately books tee times and lessons over the phone; handles all guest inquiries.
- Works closely with Player Assistants and Bag Drop Attendants to help ensure an efficient player registration process and proper pace of play.
- Communicates effectively with professional staff to ensure prompt service to guests requiring technical assistance or lessons.
- Maintains strong knowledge of pro shop merchandise and assists with inventory, restocking and designing golf displays.
- Routinely inspects all guest areas (locker rooms, sales floor, stairs, etc) to ensure that each area is clean and organized.

Job Summary: To perform all the duties applicable for all turf grass and golf course maintenance practices as prescribed by the Golf Course Superintendent. To learn and operate all equipment necessary in the performance of my duties, and follow all safety requirement in there operation. To perform maintenance checks on machinery as prescribed by equipment maintenance supervisor. To follow and adhere to all safety procedures as set forth in our department.

Job Summary: To participate in the culinary program. To use current trends and preparations to prepare food for hotel guests in a friendly, clean and efficient manner. Inspiring and creating dishes that inspire golfers to dine in our restaurants, bar and patio area. Maintain pride and professionalism in work and towards fellow employees.
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
- Check daily assignment sheet and perform assigned tasks.
- Report any food requisition or shortages to supervisor
- Work with speed and exact accuracy to assure consistent products.
- Set up station for meal periods. Be ahead of time for each breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.
- Properly rotate all food products (FIFO). Store food in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.
- Prepare and cook foods in proper portions, then plate and garnish as per specifications.
- Take “Posi” tickets from servers and ensure that no food is given out without a ticket.
- Pick up food orders from storeroom and store them in their proper areas.
- Break down, clean, and sweep station before leaving shift. Clean own station daily according to Health Department specifications (i.e. working counter, slicing machine, refrigerator, walk-in and holding box).Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and all surrounding areas.
- Replenish food and see that we have sufficient amounts on hand before each meal period.

- Manage the registration process
- Ask for identification and ensure that the provided credentials are accurate
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately

Job Summary: Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
- Answer the phone and input customer reservations into the computer
- Make daily calls to customers to confirm their upcoming reservations
- Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
- Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all wait staff gets filled tables

Job Summary: Serves food and beverage to guests in any of the food and beverage areas on property. Job Summary: The Night Auditor works at the front desk of Garland Lodge and Golf Resort from 10PM until 6AM. The Night Auditor must ensure the quality and integrity of the establishment are maintained just a diligently as they are during the day.
