Our Head Cook's position at our Dude Ranch is in charge of Hospitality. We are most willing to hire someone who currently or has never been a Head Cook but is ready for that type of job. We cook 3 family style meals per day when we have guests. Guest numbers can range from 2 in low season up to 20 in high season. Our food is called home cooking in that its' like eating at Grandma's house. Our main emphasis is Southern type cooking with salt, pepper and butter as a general rule. This job also entails supervising and assisting hospitality for our rooms and bathrooms. A Dude Ranch is similar to a bed and breakfast in that guests stay on location for 2 to 6 nights so we feed them and do daily room refreshing and then turnovers upon departure. The staff works the kitchen and in between meals they do the rooms. We have 11 rooms on the ranch. Your job covers all the bases as commander in chief. Just like a regular restaurant if your food is the greatest on Earth but your bathrooms are filthy you wont stay in business long so our successful applicant will be willing and able to take on everything required.

We provide as part of your pay, no living costs for lodging, food, utilities and wifi, a $1000/month benefit. So adding it up:

Starting Salary $1800 + provided living costs worth $1000 a month = $2800 per month plus quarterly merit pay. Ask for more details after you send in your information.
