Facilities Project Lead

Doe Bay Resort is seeking a Facilities Project Lead. The right candidate has a great attitude and possesses basic trade skills, especially in the areas of plumbing (pumps), carpentry, minor electrical and propane. We do contract some work but we try to handle as much in house as is reasonable. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years building trades experience or the equivalent skill level
• Plumbing knowledge – pex, poly, PVC, ABS, copper
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
• Recognizes a emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
• Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Experience with using all types of tools
• Knowledge and adherence to appropriate safety protocols
• Ability to follow directives and accomplish company goals
• Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Happy and enthusiastic

Responsibilities include:

• Works with the General Manager to oversee repair and maintenance of 38 acre property with 40 buildings, 35 campsites and spa with soaking tubs and sauna
• Assists in the implementation of maintenance plans with consideration to operational and budgetary constraints.
• Completes work orders and daily projects reported by front desk and General Manager.
• Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
