At Sequoia National Park, our facilities include the Wuksachi Village & Lodge which is open year round. Lodgepole Center, Wolverton Meadow, and Bearpaw High Sierra Camp are summer seasonal operations.
At Kings Canyon National Park, you will find Grant Grove Village where visitors will discover a hub of services and amenities and is open year round. Cedar Grove is open during the summer months.

The Employee Experience
The best reasons for working at Sequoia and Kings Canyon are the opportunities available when off work. Sequoia offers an opportunity to see the giant Redwoods that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Kings Canyon, together with its sister property Cedar Grove, located in Kings Canyon offer some of the most spectacular hiking, backpacking, and photographic opportunities in the United States. Employed employees will also be working with dynamic and diversified group of people, in a team oriented environment. The work itself is exciting, and there are a lot of career opportunities nationwide, and opportunity for advancement.
Room and Board
Generally housing units are small, and consist of duplex cabins or dorms. Valuable and excessive possessions should be left at home. Respect for housing rules and consideration for coworkers and guests is essential. Sequoia Park is a remote wilderness area, be prepared to coexist with wildlife. The black bear is also common and therefore strict food storage and refuse rules must also be observed. Housing cost range is $35.00 per week with double occupancy. Employees should expect double occupancy, single housing is very unlikely. Every effort will be made to appropriately place roommates.
Housing is available for employees only. Employees must be 18 years of age to live in company housing. No pets are permitted in company housing. Due to limited room space, overnight visitors are not permitted.

The employee meal program operates on a "pay as you eat" plan and is provided at a low 50% discount.
Getting Here and Getting Around
If selected, the new employee is responsible for transportation to Fresno or Visalia, California. Delaware North at Sequoia and Kings Canyon will provide transportation into the park from the Fresno or Visalia airport, the Fresno train station or the Visalia bus station. There is no public transportation into the park. Individuals driving their own vehicles will experience a great deal more mobility during their employment in the park.
At Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks, recreational opportunities expand dramatically from late spring to early fall. With giant sky-scraping trees, and terrain that invites engagement with adventure, it's a natural wonderland where unforgettable memories are easily won.
There are more than 800 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to strenuous, many lined with wildflowers like columbine, pennyroyal and shooting star. Horseback riding, fly fishing, stargazing, and spelunking are on the itinerary. And the longer daylight hours of the “sun seasons” create even more opportunities to explore.
From hiking to fishing, and cave tours to campfire programs, activity opportunities are endless in Sequoia & Kings Canyon. Explore some of America's most beautiful scenery!
