A Wrangler at Deer Valley Ranch is an iconic position with great expectations when it comes to horsemanship, guest communication, professionalism, and hospitality. Wranglers work under the Head Wrangler to conduct and perform all horsemanship program activities (trail rides, pony rides, Wrangler’s Breakfasts, and specialty horsemanship sessions.) Prior experience with horses is recommended, but not necessarily required (we invest heavily in training our wranglers, and we hire beginner horsemen and women as well as experienced horse people). WFA/WFR or similar backcountry medical certifications required (we do train staff in May if you don't already have a certification.)
