Deep Creek Fishing Club

Family owned and run, Alaskan fishing lodge seeks culinary professionals for discriminating clientele of 8-12 guests per week for our summer season, approx June 7-Sept 7, 2023. Candidate should have at least 5 years of culinary experience working in fine dining establishments. 

Candidate should have a well-rounded knowledge of fine cuisine and be able to work within the lodge's existing dining concepts with knowledge and execution of cooking fish well a must; dessert and pastry knowledge a plus. We create a fantastic dinner party atmosphere every night with many theme nights such as Mardi Gras, Pirate, Western, and more. Guests all dine together seated around a large 8-ft round table in full view of the volcanoes across the Inlet. The ability to produce a, "WOW" factor, is a must. We want our guests to relish their memories of superb dining in addition to their fantastic fishing experiences during their stay with us.

Meals required are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfasts are early (5 to 7 a.m.) while lunch is packed for anglers to enjoy while they are out fishing. Dinner begins with appetizers and cocktails at 6 pm and dinner at 7 pm, six days a week.

Food preference list for each group is provided to assist in planning around meal preferences. The candidate will be responsible for ordering as well as ensuring the proper handling and storage of all food items, the cleanliness & sanitation of the kitchen and associated workspace, in accordance with hotel standards and sanitation and health regulations.

The lodge caters to very selective guests so the candidate must be able to conduct himself/herself professionally at all times. This person must have excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain the highest standards consistently, must be a people person, and must be able to pass a drug test.
