Crystal Mountain Hotels operates 3 hotels, the fabulous Alpine Inn Restaurant and legendary Snorting Elk Cellar/Deli. All of our properties are Slopeside at Crystal Mountain Resort – within walking distance to the gondola and 6 miles from Mt. Rainier National Park.

The Employee Experience
Employees are part of a small and close-knit crew at Crystal Mountain. Our facilities and workers are an integral part of the culture and operation of Crystal Mountain Resort. You will be working for a small family-run business where everyone works together and "chips in" when needed.
Employees should expect to work for up to 6-7 days per week during the peak season and holidays. You will get to know and work alongside the owners of the business while witnessing how your positive contribution makes an impact on success. You will also get to know our great customers as we have a lot of "regulars" and long-term returning guests.
Our culture of family-friendly hospitality runs through all of our departments. Our food is delicious and our Snorting Elk Cellar is legendary Apres Ski. We were recently awarded #1 Peoples Choice Apres Ski Bar by USA Today!! Come and be a part of our crew!!

Room and Board
Full-time employees have the opportunity to live onsite in our employee dorms. Dorm rooms are usually shared with 1-3 other employees and typically have a shower/bath down the hall. All housing is within walking distance of all resort facilities and work locations. Room and Board (housing/meals) are $400 per pay period.
Discounts on foodservice from our Alpine Inn Restaurant and Snorting Elk Cellar are available for employees. Discount Season Passes for Crystal Mountain Resort are also available.
Paychecks are issued once every 4 weeks and will include hourly wages plus tips and other bonus as applicable.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Crystal Mountain is located on the NE corner of Mt. Rainier National Park off of HWY 410-Chinook Pass Scenic Byway. We are 2 hours from Seattle, WA and 1.5 hours from Tacoma, WA. There are no major shuttle services or public transportation to Crystal Mountain. We work hard to assist our seasonal employees with transportation to/from the airport, bus or train station.
Summertime fun includes Hiking, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Disc Golf, Horseback Riding, Backpacking and much more. Adjacent Mt. Rainier National Park offers limitless recreational opportunities. Downhill Skiing and Snowboarding are the main winter activities. Crystal Mountain is famous for having incredible terrain and deep snowpack. There are trails for snowshoeing and great backcountry skiing routes.
