Summer 2023 Season:  June 17- August 25 (some short contracts available)

Trip Leader & Counselor:  The Trip leader & Counselor role is dynamic and multi-faceted, including living in cabins with youth as their primary mentor, leading daily activities on camp, and leading backcountry wilderness trips.  Additionally, this role supervises a high school youth leader.   This role is a great fit for entry-level outdoor educators and trip leaders.  Learn more here:  Position Description & Application

Lead Trip & Camp Staff:  The Lead Staff play a leadership role in the camp community, managing a staff team of 2 counselors and serving as the risk management lead while out on backcountry trips. Lead staff do not liv ein cabins with youth and are responsible for the planning and leading of all backcountry wilderness trips. This role is a great fit for outdoor educators and trip leaders with 1-2 seasons of trip leading and/or staff management experience. Learn more here:  Position Description & Application

Camp Cook:  Camp cooks are the backbone of the camp community, providing delicious and nutritious meals for campers and staff.  Cooks at City Kids do more than cook, including leading activities and games for campers and assist with ranch chores. This is a great position for those who love to cook and are looking to gain more experience working with youth. Lead Cook: Camp cooks are the backbone of the camp community, providing delicious and nutritious meals for campers and staff. The Lead Cook is responsible for managing the kitchen, including food ordering, meal planning and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. High School Instructor & Residential Support:  Beyond the camper years, City Kids runs a college and career readiness program for high school youth, called the JET program.  "JETs" live on camp and participate in career exploration programming, including job shadows and internships in town.  The program includes a workshop-based college and career readiness curriculum and outdoor adventure!    This role is a great fit for anyone looking to work with high school youth and specialize in supporting teens create a vision and plan for their post-secondary life.  Learn more here: Position Description & Application

Trip Coordinator: The Trip Coordinator plays an essential role in gear management and trip preparation at City Kids. The Trip Coordinator's main responsibilities include managing and maintaining all of the gear spaces at the City Kids ranch and packing the gear and food for all trips.
