Cherry Republic is the world’s largest exclusive retailer of cherry food creations. We celebrate the beauty and spirit of Northern Michigan in everything we make and do. So, what kinds of products are we talking about – cherry salsa, chocolate-covered cherries, cherry nut mixes, cherry wine, cherry summer sausage, cherry toffee, cherry pop – just a few of the many popular and delicious cherry creations. We have a unique personality, are true to Up North, and are dedicated to working with Northern Michigan orchard farmers and other Michigan-based companies.

Located in beautiful Glen Arbor, Michigan, we are located just 1 mile from the shores of Lake Michigan, the best mountain biking in the Midwest, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and boating, and home of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. A quick 19 miles away is Traverse City, with top restaurants, beaches, and the National Cherry Festival. 

Cherry Republic operates Winery, Retail Store, Ice Cream Container and a full-service restaurant, the Cherry Public House in Glen Arbor. The Public House is casual, pub-style dining, with an outdoor beer garden. All recipes highlight locally sourced ingredients and many of our cherry products. 

Seasonal positions are available June 1st, 2023 through September 10th, 2023. Potential fall and year-round employment opportunities are also available upon request.

We are looking for 10 Line Cooks

• 40+ hours each week
• Morning, mid-day and evening shifts are available. 
• Wages range from $16-20/hr based on experience. 
• Our website has more information regarding the specific duties each line cook has the opportunity to take on. 

Rotating schedules and varying hours; must be willing to work holidays and weekends. Busy summer schedule.  

Shared housing employee options are available for $400/month, utilities included, deducted from payroll. You must have your own transportation.
