Seward Hospitality Group is expanding its holdings to include a new brewpub with a commercial kitchen and warehouse space, and we're seeking a management team that wants to grow with us! Our end game is for SHG to be employee-owned, and we want people who thrive on new ideas and challenges.
The commercial kitchen will perform food preparation for our various restaurants in Seward, and we're seeking a motivated person to manage the inventory, food preparation/distribution, and basic kitchen operations at all of our restaurants to ensure cleanliness, quality, service, maintenance, and atmosphere.
The candidate we seek will have good communication and organizational skills, basic culinary knowledge, ServSafe for Food Managers Certification, excellent business and people management skills, understanding of inventory control, ability to maintain standard operating procedures, and basic kitchen equipment maintenance needs.
The new brewpub is under construction and will be located on 33 acres just outside Seward city limits. In addition to the brewpub, the site will host adventure activities, such as a spartan course, rock climbing wall, bike trail, dog park, reindeer, and gold panning. New employee housing is also located on-site, consisting of 40 studio-style apartments with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. The position is year-round with 2 weeks paid time off and the option to take additional leave without pay during the winter months.
