Charit Creek is now accepting applications at our off the grid, backcountry lodge located in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area in beautiful East Tennessee.

This position will run March 25,2023 - June 14, 2023 with the opportunity for a year round position. Our crew members work an average of 44 hours per week and typically receive at multiple days off in a row to enjoy the area.  We are a high achieving staff that strives to bring on crew members that reflect ultimate hospitality and unwavering commitment to our guests and to each other.  

This is a full time position with lodging and food provided and is a tremendous opportunity for a self driven, motivated individual with a background in working at a remote, full service lodge and the ability to work well with a driven, high achieving team of 4-7 crew members.

  • Hospitality/Food service/Housekeeping Crew Member

    Lodge Operations
    Oneida
    $600.00 / week + tips

    Hospitality/Food Service/ Housekeeping Crew Member is truly the heart of our operation!

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service and information to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling.
    • Assist with guests check-ins to cabins, help them feel welcomed by setting a friendly and inclusive tone for our lodge.
    • Prepare and clean 9 cabins, bathhouse, dining room and common areas each day for guests.
    • Clean horse stalls as needed.
    • Assisting with kitchen and dining room operations as needed and as skills permit.
    • Manage and maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment and wash dishes efficiently.
    • Assist with lodge operations in the areas of groundskeeping, gardening and customer service.
    • Develop a working knowledge of the trails and sights near the lodge.
    • Must be flexible and able to multitask –– new challenges arise each day.

      Qualifications:
    • 1 Year Minimum Customer Service/Hospitality/Food Service Required.
    • Ability to appropriately balance speed and quality of work.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow directions.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing rugged environment.
    • Ability to be proactive, able to manage projects solo, and enjoy working autonomously.
    • 1 Year Minimum Outdoor Experience OR Experience Living in a Remote Location.
