Our ideal candidate would have a professional and outgoing manner with great communication and multitasking skills, comfortable with online reservation and POS systems, cash handling, and enjoy interacting with diverse populations. We are seeking a healthy employee who can comfortably lift 20 pounds and appreciates working for a small, family-owned business. Prior seasonal hospitality or direct customer service experience is preferred.

Job Description: This is a dual trained position between Guest Services and Housekeeping. This position covers the housekeepers day off once a week and works the front desk the other days.
Guest Services Duties: Greet and check-in guests, provide information about the Denali National Park area, book local activities, accept payments for lodging and gift shop items, assist with laundry and additional duties as assigned.
Housekeeping duties: Provide cleaning of up to 10 cabins, 6 lodge rooms and 2 shower houses. You would also wash and fold laundry and tend to any additional housekeeping related assignments. A typical cleaning day may include vacuuming floors, cleaning toilets, showers, and sinks, making beds, changing towels and bed linens, restocking guest rooms, dusting, laundry, and emptying garbage.
Our ideal candidate would be professional and outgoing in manner with great communication and multitasking skills, comfortable with online reservation and POS systems, cash handling, and enjoy interacting with diverse populations. This position requires physical stamina with the ability to comfortably lift 20 pounds and maintain a fast work pace. On housekeeping days you are expected to be able to move between cabins and lodge rooms and carry a 5 gallon bucket with cleaning supplies plus the vacuum. Comfort in a country setting with the need to kill the occasional insect and not be afraid of voles, squirrels or Moose. Prior seasonal hospitality and/or housekeeping experience is preferred.
