  • Golf Course Maintenance Staff

    Golf Course Maintenance
    Cape Cod
    $20.50 - $23.50 / hour

    Groundsworkers are responsible for the overall maintenance and care of golf club grounds, plantings, and trees. Will do watering, mowing, weeding, raking, bunker work and spread sand, seed, and fertilizer. Will lay sod, install/repair drainage, aerify greens; clearing of leaves and debris from all outdoor areas, rubbish removal; maintain tool and equipment, and perform other landscaping work. Ability to lift and carry and move items up to 50 lbs. Required to work in all weather conditions. Drive landscaping utility vehicles. Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license or eligibility to drive in the U.S. If requested, employer will reimburse for motor vehicle record checks as well as the cost of taking Massachusetts RMV, eye, written, and road exams. No experience necessary; will train.

  • Server

    Food and Beverage
    Cape Cod
    $25.00 - $29.00 / hour

    Serves food and beverage to guests throughout all club dining venues. Accurately takes orders and completes bill and payment transactions on POS system. Follows daily checklists for side work including set-ups, stocks, and break down of service. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. Must have excellent communications skills. Min. age is 18 due to alcohol service. No experience necessary; will train.

  • Sous Chef

    Food and Beverage
    Cape Cod
    $27.00 - $31.00 / hour

    Reports to: Executive Chef
    Expected Compensation: $27.00-$31.00
    Employment Status: Full-Time; Seasonal
    Dates of Employment: May 1, 2023 - October 31. 2023

    ATTENTION: This is a non-H2B position.

    Job Summary: As Sous Chef at CCN, you will directly support the Executive Chef, Garde Manger Cook, Dishwashers and all other Kitchen Employees. Sous Chef responsibilities include using various cooking equipment while ensuring they can set up and maintain multiple workstations during the season. The Sous Chef will be able to execute opening and closing procedures, as well as maintain food safety and sanitation to health code and CCN standards. It is imperative to ensure all ingredients and final products are up to the Club’s standards and are the freshest products available, including following all recipes (weighing, measuring, and mixing), presenting, garnishing and arranging final dishes and plates. CCN has an on-site garden, which is to be incorporated into the daily menu and any specials. It is important to communicate and inform the Executive Chef of any food-related problems immediately to ensure Member satisfaction. The Sous Chef will also assist in food ordering and storage of food items in the Clubhouse. In the absence of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will run the kitchen and all aspects of the Back of House.

    Kitchen Employees’ Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Create exceptional cuisine for CCN Members, guests, and employees.
    • Ensure that all assigned work is properly complete, and that food is prepared in a timely manner for à la carte service and events.
    • Visually inspect, taste, select, and use only food items of the highest standard in preparation for all menu items.
    • Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
    • Ensure the proper storage and handling of products, checking on quality, food safety, portion size and preparation.  
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area with regard to utensils, equipment, and dishes.
    • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment daily and weekly.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef in menu development and implementation.
    • Monitor waste and over-production and utilize leftovers ensuring proper rotation and quality control.
    • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products and adhere to local health code standards.
    • Responsible for assisting Executive Chef in maintaining overall cleanliness and equipment maintenance in all Food and Beverage areas.

    • Available weekends, weekdays, and holidays throughout our peak season.
    • Well groomed and neatly presented.
    • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
    • You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Line Cook

    Food and Beverage
    Cape Cod
    $24.00 - $27.00 / hour

    As a Line Cook at CCN, you will be expected to produce and oversee consistency within the cold food preparation station while executing recipes and maintaining a standard for all food such as proteins, salads, dressings, sliced proteins, cold menu items, desserts and employee meals. The Line Cook is responsible for creating and preparing platters and food displays for events, as well as overseeing continental breakfast. They should be able to use various cooking equipment for prep and a la carte service and they must maintain food safety and sanitation to health code and CCN standards. The Line Cook must ensure all ingredients and final products are up to CCN standards and are the freshest products available while presenting, garnishing and arranging final dishes and plates. It is important to inform the Executive Chef of any food-related problems immediately in order to ensure Member satisfaction.

    This is a non H2B position. Applicants are eligible for housing.

The housing was renovated in 2022 and features full kitchens, central air conditioning, new furniture, bedding, free parking and no-cost washer and dryer. CCN provides toiletries such as bath tissue, paper towels, cleaning supplies and laundry detergent.

  • Locker Room Attendant

    Food and Beverage
    Cape Cod
    $18.00 - $23.00 / hour

    The Locker Room Attendant at Cape Cod National Golf Club will be responsible for providing a high-level of customer service in the locker room area to all Members and guests. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
    • Engage in positive conversations with Members and guests at any point of contact.
    • Manage the organization and stock of all amenities/toiletries offered in the Locker Room.
    • Manage keys and Member requests regarding the Locker Room.
    • Monitor and maintain the clean appearance of the Locker Room.
    • Laundering and folding towels.
    • Setup of a light continental breakfast.
    • Cleaning Golf Shoes.
    • Assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained.
    • Create a desirable atmosphere through attitude, appearance, and knowledgeable service.

    Requirements
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
    • Availability for early shifts beginning at 6:00 a.m.
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate working tournaments.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • A friendly smile and great attitude are also a must.
