Camp Mondamin and Camp Green Cove are boys and girls summer camps for ages 6 - 17, We emphasize outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. We believe in fun, adventure, safety, and great instruction.

About Camps Mondamin and Green Cove
Our program is non-competitive, which encourages experimentation, and non-regimented, which fosters self-direction. Our strengths lie in the quality of our staff and the depth of our program.
We hire men and women, young and old, in search of meaningful summer jobs. Average pay, long hours, and more personal rewards than you can imagine.
What's in the job?
- Instruction responsibility: teaching kids in your activity or leading trips, and...

We expect a great deal from our staff members, but also offer them a lot in terms of support, direction, and opportunity.
Room and Board
All meals and lodging, except for what you may choose to spend on time off, is covered by us.
Employee Perks
All of our jobs include room and board, laundry facilities, internet access, and 36 hours a week off.
Instructors are eligible for professional purchase programs through leading outdoor equipment companies.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Staff pay their way here. Most drive or we can pick you up at either Asheville or Greenville airports.
For Fun
Camps Mondamin and Green Cove own 800 acres and are near several wilderness areas for paddling, hiking, biking and climbing (Pisgah National Forest, Nantahala River Gorge, etc.). Nearby cities include Asheville, NC and Greenville SC. Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC are 2-3 hours drive.
