Excellence In Children's Camping Since 1920
Since 1920, our traditional Brother/Sister summer camps have been at the forefront of resident camping and have served as a summer home to hundreds of campers, staff, and alumni. We are passionate about the camping experience and value the history and traditions that continue to shape us.
Conveniently located just 2 1/2 hours from the greater New York and Philadelphia areas, the Equinunk and Blue Ridge campus sits on 400+ magnificent acres of fields and wooded trails and is divided by our 75-acre private spring-fed lake.
About Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge
We have made an incredible commitment to our camp families over the years. Building state of the art facilities, hiring the best staff, but most importantly, the thing we do best is take care of the campers. Choosing a sleep away camp is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Our wholesome, inclusive and nurturing environment allows us to ensure safe and happy campers, while creating memories that last a lifetime.
Our staff are never out there all by themselves. We're here to help you establish memorable relationships with campers and co-workers. You'll be trained by experts, guided by experienced summer camp professionals, and will always have somewhere to turn. As a result, you'll learn a whole lot about yourself and build skills in teamwork, motivation and inter-personal relationships that will serve you well throughout your career - no matter what that might be - and throughout your life.
The Employee Experience
Our camp staff often say working for CECBR was 'the best summer ever!'. When you join us, we want you to make new friends, have fun and experience the beautiful facilities and traditions that our camp has to offer. It's not often that you can find a job where you get to jump in a lake, go down a zip-line, and toast s'mores all in one day - We want staff members who will dive into the activities with the kids and share the fun and joy that our campers experience.
One guarantee we will make is that you will walk away feeling a sense of accomplishment, having spent a rewarding summer looking after our campers and making friends from around the world.
We're looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, motivated individuals who will be willing to invest and immerse themselves in the incredible traditions and culture at our camp.
Most of all we look for individuals who are kind.
Room and Board
The majority of our housing is in the traditional camp style, sharing a cabin with campers and fellow counselors. Limited private housing is provided for certain specialized positions.
Use of our diverse and exciting facilities, including a state of the art fitness center, a 75 acre spring fed lake abounding with water sports, and staff internet lounges, as well as allotted time off, and a competitive salary.
Getting Here and Getting Around
There are many options when planning your travel to camp. There is an employee parking lot and staff are welcome to bring a vehicle. We are happy to help coordinate staff arrivals and departures to/from camp and offer pick up services from some public transportation hubs.
We value your time off and we want to make it fun for you! We have a Staff Events Director to organize exciting events and opportunities for you this summer, from local day trips, to on-campus music events, glow parties, sports leagues, and more! The best part of camp is meeting new friends and we want to help you do it in the most fun way!
