Want to get a Wilderness First Responder and/or Lifeguard Certification? We offer onsite courses and pay for them!

Western States and Canada 5 Week Trip (9 weeks of work includes room/board/salary)

Never seen the Badlands, Devil’s Tower, Mt. Rushmore? Spend 7/4 in Jackson, WY, enjoy some day hikes there before departure to an outfitted white water rafting trip in Montana. Hike in the Wind River Range in Wyoming, complete a trail service project in Bonner’s Ferry Idaho, Hike in the Sawtooth Mtn. in Idaho. Head to Canada and hike at Mt. Robson Provincial Park and a spectacular area called Kananaskis.  Lead sixteen year old girls on this adventure who will look to you as their big sister. 

Building your wilderness skills? Lead  12-14 Year Old Campers on Wilderness Programs in Minnesota, Michigan and Canada 

Lead campers through backpacking, bike, and canoe trips in some of the following areas: Superior Hiking Trail, Porcupine Mountains, Voyageurs N.P., Boundary Water Canoe Area? 

Our community is an eclectic mix of people from all over the world and we guarantee work for the summer season. 

Salary Includes: Room, Board, Completion Bonus, Experience and Travel Stipend, Compensation for Certs or Certs Taken and Paid for at Thunderbird. On the trip, food, snacks, and entertainment are covered as well.

Staff can also get a referral fee of $225 for anyone who finishes the season. 

Contract Dates: June 8-August 12 with two optional weeks of work available on either end of the summer.
