Camp Saginaw is a premier, coed overnight camp for kids ages 6-16. Since 1927, we have promoted developing relationships, independence, and self-confidence in our campers. We strive to make our campers better people. Along with our comprehensive art, sports, and waterfront programs, we also offer exciting and challenging activities such as ATVs and ropes courses. We are located on over 400 acres in picturesque Chester County, PA. We have a lake, creek, two pools, numerous sports and arts facilities (indoor & outdoor), and many adventure locations including a dirt bike track, archery range, a 10-element aerial adventure course, and a 60' high climbing wall and zip line.
About Camp Saginaw
Since 1927, Camp Saginaw has been known as a premier summer camp for children. Campers travel from all over the world to attend Saginaw, a camp rich in tradition and reputable in its industry. We are accredited by the ACA, and we strive to maintain the traditions of years past while meeting the expectations of 21st-century kids and parents.
Located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Camp Saginaw is a family-owned and operated traditional coed summer camp for kids. Every summer, approximately 200 boys and 200 girls, ages six through sixteen, come to Saginaw to strengthen athletic abilities, cultivate artistic talents, and - most of all - to have fun!
Saginaw utilizes its beautiful natural environment and meticulously maintained facilities to create a positive, healthy atmosphere in which children grow and thrive. We promote developing relationships, community, and self-confidence in our campers -- we aim to make our campers better people.

Room and Board
HOUSING
All staff members live with campers in modern, spacious cabins. Each cabin has at least two toilets, two showers, and two sinks. All cabins have electricity, and most have new windows and heat extraction fans.
Each cabin contains 10-20 standard twin beds (depending on cabin size), with cubbies and outlets alongside each one.
MEALS
Three meals a day - plus a snack - is included. Meals are served buffet or family-style and are cooked by professional chefs and culinary students. We can easily accommodate food allergies (peanuts, gluten, etc) and/or diets (vegetarian).

Getting Here and Getting Around
Staff members are welcome to bring their cars to camp; we have safe and ample free parking on site.
If you do not have a car, we will assist you in getting to camp. We can pick up at local bus/train stations and airports. (there is no charge for this). You will need to coordinate timing with us before you book any travel.
Our camp is self-contained, and has no public roads through it. However, we are approximately 10 minutes from grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and more.
Camp will provide transportation 1-2 nights a week for staff to local, popular shopping centers. (there is a $5-10 per person charge for this). Please note: this will be dependent on current local health protocols due to Covid-19.
For Fun
We are located about an hour south of Philadelphia, an hour and a half from the beach, and about 2 hours from both New York City and Washington, DC. There are many easy and well-priced ways (buses/trains) to travel to these locations if you do not have a car.
Our local area also has several award-winning restaurants, shops, and cultural sites. We are close to Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine historical area, and Kennett Square (the mushroom capital of the world!)
