The Employee Experience

Camp Hantesa is a people first organization. The culture of caring is very important to us, happy staff equates to happy campers. This philosophy drives all that we do at Hantesa. Most of our counselors are not specialists, they are general counselors and we train the staff to teach the activities they feel comfortable instructing, we feel this keeps our staff fresh and reduces burnout. We have high expectations for our staff while at the same time making everyone feel like they are valued and have a voice. We recognize the opportunity for members of our community to grow individually and as a collective, this growth is essential to the fabric of what we want to build here at Camp Hantesa.
