Camp Fire Central Puget Sound ignites a passion for nature, a commitment to service and a drive to succeed in 6,000 children and teens every year. Since 1915, kids have relied on Camp Fire for fun and educational experiences that develop their confidence, academic success, leadership and social skills. With the support of our community, we build tomorrow’s leaders today.
On Vashon Island, in the Puget Sound and a 20 minutes ferry ride to downtown Seattle, Washington.
About Camp Fire Central Puget Sound
If you love the outdoors and want to make a positive difference for kids, Camp Sealth may be the place for you! We’re a friendly, inclusive community of campers and staff, accredited by the American Camp Association, and passionate about helping kids become caring, responsible individuals. Working at a summer camp is hard work, but it’s worth the effort. You’ll leave camp with great memories, new skills, and a ton of new best friends. A summer at camp is truly an experience you’ll never forget!
- Previous experience or a desire to work with children
- Some experience with camping or hiking (helpful, not required)
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and has a willingness to learn
- Minimum age 18 (19 preferred)
Room and Board
Housing is provided for the summer as well as food when campers are in attendance.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Camp Sealth is located on an island which can only be accessed by a ferry. The ferry carries both passengers and vehicles.
Camp Sealth is a 20 minute ferry ride away from downtown Seattle! Also, if interested in hiking around national parks, Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Parks are only a few hours away!
