Camp Cobbossee for Boys

Camp Cobbossee for boys is looking for an assistant to our Program Director, a position we call the Scheduler. We are an all boys sports and adventure camp located in the heart of Maine!

The scheduler works with the Program Director (PD) to execute the daily schedule for campers and staff. The scheduler would assist the Program Director in any program related tasks, but the specific duties are as follow:

• Assist PD with building daily camper schedules in CampMinder (CRM system)
• Print and distribute rosters and staff assignments to Program Heads
• Make adjustments to rosters for Program Heads as needed due to intercamps, trips, etc.
• Help PD build bank of elective activities, track how often each is run, select options for each day
• Assign staff to daily elective period
• Conduct schedule changes with campers on regular schedule
• Generate blue sheets (daily newsletters) and update and redistribute as needed
• Prep rainy day schedules and materials
• Attend morning leadership meetings, act as stand in for PD as needed.
• Relay program and intercamp changes to Group Leaders and Head Counselors
• Administration of program boards in each age group
• Compile, administer, and collect weekly program folders from GLs
• Assist with special events as needed
• Work with the PD on improving the Cobbachoice system/compiling Cobbachoices from staff before and during the summer

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $2,000.00 per month
